One of the best shore excursions we have ever done. The combination of city sightseeing and the floating museum was perfect. The history came alive through the guide's storytelling and the transportation was comfortable throughout.

We traveled with teenagers who sometimes lose interest in historical tours, but this one managed to keep their attention. The guide explained the story of the Vasa ship in an engaging way, especially how it sank on its first voyage. Seeing the ship inside the museum made the history feel real. The rest of the tour included some sightseeing around Stockholm, which gave us a brief look at the city’s layout and architecture.

As a solo traveler on a cruise, I often look for tours that are easy to join without much planning. This one was straightforward and organized around the cruise schedule. The group size was manageable, and the guide spoke clearly. The Vasa Museum was definitely the highlight. Walking through the exhibits and seeing the massive ship in person was quite impressive. The tour also included a short overview drive around Stockholm, which helped me get a general sense of the city.

My spouse and I enjoy learning about the history of the places we visit, so this tour appealed to us. The guide shared some background about Stockholm and Sweden during the drive. The Vasa Museum visit was fascinating, particularly because the ship is so well preserved after being underwater for centuries. The museum itself is thoughtfully arranged, allowing visitors to see the ship from different levels. It was a memorable stop during our cruise itinerary.

Four of us booked this tour because we were curious about the famous Vasa ship. The transportation from the cruise port was smooth and the guide kept things organized. The museum visit was interesting, and we appreciated having some explanations about the ship before exploring the exhibits. Afterward, the tour included a short drive around parts of Stockholm, which gave us a quick overview of the city before returning to the port.

I joined this tour during a cruise trip that also included some work commitments. I didn’t want to spend time figuring out transportation in a city I didn’t know, so this organized option was convenient. The guide provided useful historical context and pointed out landmarks during the drive. The Vasa Museum was the highlight and worth the visit. Even with a limited schedule, the tour provided a solid introduction to Stockholm.

A great way to see Stockholm during a cruise stop. The guide shared interesting facts and historical insights. We were also impressed by the local food and natural beauty. The Vasa Museum was breathtaking. Highly recommended for first time visitors.

Our tour guide taught us more about himself and his hobbies rather than where we were visiting. I know this sounds brutal and he was a nice guy but he talked a lot about his honey business which is fantastic for him, but I didn't go on a tour to hear about this. I was not alone in being mildly annoyed. It also stated it was pick up from port which you would assume that this meant transfer back, however we were left in Old Town and shown the way to walk. Some of the people elderly and stressed about getting back to the boat and we shared an uber which was much easier, however annoying all the same.
