We welcome you to discover the real flavors, colors, and rhythm of Panama City on our street-food tasting adventure that goes far beyond restaurants.
This is not a sit-down meal—it’s a walking experience through the city’s most authentic neighborhoods, where you’ll taste, learn, and connect with the people behind Panama’s local cuisine.
Start at the Seafood Market with three types of ceviche, then explore San Felipe Neri Market to sample Afro-Caribbean dishes, tropical juices, Geisha coffee, and hot sauces.
Continue along Avenida Central for tamales and a visit to a local bakery. In El Chorrillo, enjoy coconut fish, BBQ chicken, smoked chorizo, and escabeche fish, served in tasting portions.
Optional rum cocktail or juice included. This is a tasting tour, not a full meal.
Please note: This is a tasting tour, not a full meal at each stop. The experience focuses on authentic local life, culture, and connection rather than fine dining.

This was an Anthony Bourdain experience … local culture, history, and food … as a local! This was the best food tour I’ve been on, and my teenage daughter concurs!

If you have to choose a food tour or tour in general, DO THIS ONE!! This was an amazing street food tour! The food was absolutely delicious, everything I tried I loved! The food portions are bite sized but you try 20+ flavors and you end up being pretty stuffed by the end of it! The guides were awesome too. It was really cool how they took us into different areas that usually a tourist probably wouldn’t travel to. Their knowledge of the historical area was phenomenal and I was so fascinated by their descriptions. We loved it!

The tour was exceptional. Jonathan and Elena were knowledgeable and passionate about their culture and the history of the area. They explained the food and the background of how it came about. The food tour started at the fish market and then wound through the local communities in the area. You got to meet the local citizens, who by the way were very friendly and wanted to meet you as well. This tour should be the first tour on your list when you visit Panama City. It open so many possibilities. Peter

I don't think I can adequately explain how fantastic this tour/experience was in words. Not only did it feel my belly, but it fed my soul. I didn't think I could love Panama more. I feel honored to have participated. Everyone who loves the food and culture connection should experience this tour. 5 stars aren't enough.

Absolutely phenomenal tour guides with an extraordinary passion for Panama. Great food—but even better stories and insights to the city and its neighborhoods.

This was my fav tour in Panama. Jonathan and his team take you around Casco but also into el chorillo and because they are from that area and locals you will be welcomed and safe even as a rich looking white man lol...Once in a lifetime experience to see the real people of Panama that live in the not so nice areas but welcoming respectful and amazing food ohh the BBQ chicken.

You can tell that the staff really cared about what they were doing. It was very clear that they were passionate about their company, country, the food and the culture. I think they did an amazing job at having a mixture of food, city tour, and culture. Highly recommend.

The tour is run by a family from the neighborhoods you visit and they make the experience personal and authentic, taking you to their favourite spots and sharing stories about life in these communities. And the food…delicious and abundant! Lots of little eats at many, many locations from market stalls to local seekers to street carts. It’s a full afternoon! I highly recommend them. Also - added bonus - it’s not a focus of the tour, but there is also a lot of incredible street art on the way.
