We welcome you to discover the real flavors, colors, and rhythm of Panama City on our street-food tasting adventure that goes far beyond restaurants.
This is not a sit-down meal—it’s a walking experience through the city’s most authentic neighborhoods, where you’ll taste, learn, and connect with the people behind Panama’s local cuisine.
Start at the Seafood Market with three types of ceviche, then explore San Felipe Neri Market to sample Afro-Caribbean dishes, tropical juices, Geisha coffee, and hot sauces.
Continue along Avenida Central for tamales and a visit to a local bakery. In El Chorrillo, enjoy coconut fish, BBQ chicken, smoked chorizo, and escabeche fish, served in tasting portions.
Optional rum cocktail or juice included. This is a tasting tour, not a full meal.
Please note: This is a tasting tour, not a full meal at each stop. The experience focuses on authentic local life, culture, and connection rather than fine dining.

We absolutely loved our Paradox Exp Walking Street Food Tour. First of all, c! Our guide, “Kowalsky,” led the experience with the help of her husband and two brothers, and the family energy made the tour feel warm, fun, and incredibly welcoming. We started at the fish market, where we sampled several types of ceviche—each one delicious—before moving on to explore the surrounding neighborhoods. I lost count of how many stops we made along the way, but I think it was at least nine! We enjoyed an amazing variety of food and drinks, including fresh juices, ceviche, sweets, rum, typical Panamanian comidas, and more. What really sets this tour apart is the depth of information the guides share. You don’t just taste the food—you learn about the daily life of Panamanians, the history and culture behind each dish, and the vibrant local communities of Casco Viejo, Santa Ana, and El Chorrillo. It felt like an authentic look at the city through the eyes of people who love it deeply. Come hungry, wear comfortable shoes, and be ready for a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Food is culture and the tour explained food in cultural terms and impact. Tastes and textures were unique. The tour was also very well managed and narrated. Thank you Jonathan, Elena and Luiz

Wonderful Knowledge of all the different sections of the city of Panama. We ate from the fish market to the Plaza section of the City, ceviche, baked goods, fish, different drinks, coffee, you name it we tried it. And the knowledge of everyone was outstanding..

Absolutely the best tour in Panama. Not only did we get to try 25+ foods… we got to experience the history, culture, and community of Panama City. We walked in areas I probably never would have ventured alone, but with our guides leading the way, we were able to try so many good foods. The food was delicious, but my favorite part was the community. We saw areas where the locals came together at night to watch soccer games, play music, and salsa dance. I felt so welcomed by this community and everyone was so kind. If you go to Panama, this would be the first thing I suggest!

This street food tour was the highlight of my entire trip in Panama. Not only did we get to try 25+ foods… we also learned about the city and culture, made friends with our entire group, and got to see a beautiful local community come together for an evening of soccer and salsa dancing. These guys are seriously the best and I’ve been telling everyone I meet about them. This is a MUST SEE in Panama!!

The tour was exceptionally organized, informative, and relaxed. The team exhibited great customer service, we visited local establishments that I would not have found on my own, and for the duration of the tour...we were a family. I can not express enough how exceptional this tour was. If you are visiting Panama City, this walking tour IS A MUST.

This was the biggest scam and not worth $90. Our tour guide (Jonathan) was drunk! The food samples were tiny and were served out of a small cap the size of a medicine measuring cup. We are still hungry when we left. It was so bad that everyone began to complain. All the food was cut up into tiny pieces. For example, a 2 chili dogs were cut up to serve a group 15 people. (I ended up buying my own chili dog and lemonade for $3 from the street vendor. that was the most food I ate on the trip) 2 pieces of fish from Black Cat were cut up and served on napkins. Jonathan gave us each a cup of rum punch to walk around with BUT not before telling us it was ILLEGAL to drink alcohol on the streets. We were told to say it was tea if anyone asked. As a tourist that was very alarming and could have been very bad for us. Save Your Money and go to the fish market where there are plenty of restaurants to eat a full meal at. They should be ashamed. The service delivery was deceitful.

This food tour was an absolute disappointment. For $90, I expected to actually taste and enjoy local food, but the portions were ridiculously small — one dish was literally cut up to feed 18 people! I left hungry and frustrated. There was way too much walking and not nearly enough eating. It honestly felt like a money grab, not an authentic food experience. Save your money — this was a complete waste of time and appetite.

The Panamanian escabeche blew my mind—sweet, tangy, full of soul. The coconut sauce? Pure comfort. And that secret drink at the end? Let’s just say... it hit in all the right ways. This tour was a flavor bomb. 100% recommended experience.
