We welcome you to discover the real flavors, colors, and rhythm of Panama City on our street-food tasting adventure that goes far beyond restaurants.
This is not a sit-down meal—it’s a walking experience through the city’s most authentic neighborhoods, where you’ll taste, learn, and connect with the people behind Panama’s local cuisine.
Start at the Seafood Market with three types of ceviche, then explore San Felipe Neri Market to sample Afro-Caribbean dishes, tropical juices, Geisha coffee, and hot sauces.
Continue along Avenida Central for tamales and a visit to a local bakery. In El Chorrillo, enjoy coconut fish, BBQ chicken, smoked chorizo, and escabeche fish, served in tasting portions.
Optional rum cocktail or juice included. This is a tasting tour, not a full meal.
Please note: This is a tasting tour, not a full meal at each stop. The experience focuses on authentic local life, culture, and connection rather than fine dining.

We loved that this wasn't just a food tour! It connected us to the culture while eating authentic food where locals really do eat. This is exactly the tour that we had hoped for and so much more. We walked through real neighborhoods, tasted things we never imagined, and felt truly connected to the culture and the food scene. Our guides Elena, Jonathan, Luis and Maria were accommodating and guided and directed us in an organized and professional manner. The food was delicious, but our favorite part was the community visiting areas we would have never known to visit in order to sample and learn about authentic Panamanian food. We did not need to eat dinner after this food tour! We felt so welcomed by this community, and everyone was so gracious. Our guides Elena and Maria also went above and beyond accommodating my wife, who needed some extra assistance with some minor first aid. Maria directed us to a Farmacia and also made helpful suggestions so we would not miss any of the tours, which we so appreciated. She also escorted my wife to make sure she got the first aid she needed by waking with us and then returning to the tour. If you go to Panama, this would be the first tour I would suggest if you want a true Panamanian food experience!

If like me you want to enjoy multiple delicious local food tastings paired with the local tipple as you are introduced to the fascinating sites, sounds, people, sights, history and, obviously food of the area - take this tour. Unlike other Food Walking Tours I have taken around the world with a solo guide, this one is led by a family team of three, plus assistants, so although the group size is slightly larger than I have previously encountered, it means that someone on the Team can deal with late arrivals / illness / questions / specific requirements / annoying individual behaviour/ group arrival at the next venue, whilst the designated guide can do the informative guiding. Also ideal taking this tour if you meant to read the guide books before you arrived in Panama, then you didn't. You get an engaging low down on what you need to know so that you can go forth and explore this fascinating City solo.

We absolutely loved our Paradox Exp Walking Street Food Tour. First of all, c! Our guide, “Kowalsky,” led the experience with the help of her husband and two brothers, and the family energy made the tour feel warm, fun, and incredibly welcoming. We started at the fish market, where we sampled several types of ceviche—each one delicious—before moving on to explore the surrounding neighborhoods. I lost count of how many stops we made along the way, but I think it was at least nine! We enjoyed an amazing variety of food and drinks, including fresh juices, ceviche, sweets, rum, typical Panamanian comidas, and more. What really sets this tour apart is the depth of information the guides share. You don’t just taste the food—you learn about the daily life of Panamanians, the history and culture behind each dish, and the vibrant local communities of Casco Viejo, Santa Ana, and El Chorrillo. It felt like an authentic look at the city through the eyes of people who love it deeply. Come hungry, wear comfortable shoes, and be ready for a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Food is culture and the tour explained food in cultural terms and impact. Tastes and textures were unique. The tour was also very well managed and narrated. Thank you Jonathan, Elena and Luiz

Absolutely the best tour in Panama. Not only did we get to try 25+ foods… we got to experience the history, culture, and community of Panama City. We walked in areas I probably never would have ventured alone, but with our guides leading the way, we were able to try so many good foods. The food was delicious, but my favorite part was the community. We saw areas where the locals came together at night to watch soccer games, play music, and salsa dance. I felt so welcomed by this community and everyone was so kind. If you go to Panama, this would be the first thing I suggest!

This street food tour was the highlight of my entire trip in Panama. Not only did we get to try 25+ foods… we also learned about the city and culture, made friends with our entire group, and got to see a beautiful local community come together for an evening of soccer and salsa dancing. These guys are seriously the best and I’ve been telling everyone I meet about them. This is a MUST SEE in Panama!!

The tour was exceptionally organized, informative, and relaxed. The team exhibited great customer service, we visited local establishments that I would not have found on my own, and for the duration of the tour...we were a family. I can not express enough how exceptional this tour was. If you are visiting Panama City, this walking tour IS A MUST.
