What To Expect
River Drim
We will make a short tour of the town of Struga and visit the lock where the water of Lake Ohrid flows into the river “Black Drim". Struga is a small town, well know of the host place of the poetry festival "Struga poetry evenings".
Holy Mother of God
In Kalishta, you will find one of the rare icons where the Mother of God is painted in a black robe and with a black face, and the child Jesus is black.

5.00We are two adult plus two 14 year old boys and their grandmother. Good trip for everyone. Learnt so much from Tony about Macedonia, their food, politics, religion, culture, education etc etc. Saw so many interest things, cave churches, springs, Struga etc etc Stopped off at a restaurant on lake part way through day for coffee and saw fish, frogs, cranes/storks and snakes. Would highly recommend.

4.00I love struga. Very nice city, peacefull and beatiful. I like so much the ohrid lake and the Drin river. Very nice bar and restorant near Drin river. The people are nice kind and very hospitality. I suggest one weekend in struga and you Will fall in love with this small city.
