Obviously I have not done several safaris in the Thar Desert to compare them but I think this one more than meets the objectives: visits on the way to a couple of interesting sites (avoiding the Gipsy Village) trip in a fully suitable Jeep, option to make part of the journey in camels (well kept).. and a fabulous Guide. The camp is set up at 55km in a place where there are no more tourists than you.. good dinner (they give the option to take a few beers before going to camp) good breakfast and good company by the Guide (without doubt, the best of the safari) 💯 Recommended

What an experience!! Sambhu and Abeh were amazing guides. Knowledgeable, friendly and funny with excellent English. Camels were interesting and very well cared for - would recommend a good groin stretch in the days before! Camp lunch and dinner were some of the best meals we’ve eaten. Camping was cold but worth it for the star gazing. Overall, very enjoyable and a great experience.

Great experience! Met nice folks, in an extremely relaxing environment. We were really hesitant as the whole idea of a camel Safari sounds very touristy... However, it didn't feel overly touristy and it was also perfectly ok to just walk instead of sitting on a camel (e.g in case you don't need animals for your entertainment). Talking to the guides by the bonfire was definitely the best part. In short: glad I did it.

Great experience We reached the desert by pick up at 1h from our hotel (passing through a small fort), then we joined our guide and camels. Two-hour walk, then homemade lunch by our guide, in the middle of the desert and sheltered from the sun. Rest then back on the road by camel for two hours, before a magnificent sunset over the dunes. Two other guides joined us, we all dined together, the Mood was there. A ready-made bed (with sheets!) was waiting for us, superb night under the stars. Breakfast the next morning then (at our request), new 30min camel ride then back to the hotel by pick up. Just perfect

Where do I begin? Padam was very helpful with organizing my trip in Jaisalmer, including the Camel Safari he runs. There were a few sidetrips before the actual safari itself including to a watering hole and to a fort with a view of an archeological site in a valley. It was cold though so do take note of bring warm clothes and jackets when doing this tour in the winter. They gave us enough blankets and it was warm once we were tucked in bed. This was recommended to me by a friend who did it 6 years ago with Wanderlust, and would gladly recommend it to others who are thinking of coming to Jaisalmer!

We had the most amazing night in the desert on the non-touristy overnight stay. We are vegan, and had reservations about riding a camel, so chose to go to the dunes by Jeep. This was a fun journey in itself and we stopped at a lake and an abandoned village on the way. When we arrived we wandered off into the beautiful dunes to watch the sunset and enjoy the stillness of the desert. Arriving back at camp our beds were made and dinner was on the camp fire, along with hot chai (without milk for us). Dinner was simple and delicious. There was no trouble with getting vegan food, and it was one of the best meals we have had in India. We spent the night under the stars on camp beds with clean sheets and comfortable mattresses. Parma has put together an amazing team of lovely staff, and this was a real highlight of our trip. Do this, sleep at wanderlust hotel, and eat at the guest house. You won’t regret it!

We love safari, an incredible experience, plus the guides are super attentive and prepare a wonderful dinner! On the way we still meet a local village! It was too much! Mandatory stop in Jaisalmer! ;)

The guides are fantastic, very good people, fun, attentive, enter the farra and provide us with a fantastic moment! The rest of the experience is on our own! Those who like this kind of wild ride will love it! Enjoy it!!

There is nothing to say, the experience with them was perfect! Everything precise, perfect. The journey by jeep, reaching the desert by camel, the area chosen for camping. But the thing that makes this experience perfect is absolutely the staff. Kind, welcoming, nice. And then there is Nabu, an exquisite person. Nabu really makes a difference! Really good and thank you for this wonderful experience.

The owner and staff were all friendly and it was a comfortable Jaisalmer sightseeing! Camel Safari was also a fun way to enjoy the desert in over 40 degree heat! Thank you very much. Thank you🥰
