Instead of a regular Sundarban and Bagerhat tour by vessel, we focus on a community-based tour where you will stay in an eco-resort of a local village of the Sundarban Mangrove Forest. Embark on a unique journey to explore the serene beauty of Sundarban, the largest mangrove forest in the world, and the historical marvels of Bagerhat (Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites).
** In this tour we do not go deep of the forest, we stay edge of the forest in a village and focus on local activities, village tour, canal cruising, fishing etc.

1. Instead of cruising through the deep forest on a luxury vessel, we will stay in an eco-resort in a local village inside the Sundarban Mangrove forest.

- At around 7 AM our guide will pick you up from your hotel & start for Mognla by reserved AC car (approx: 5 hours journey). - After reaching Mongla , we will transfer you from Mongla to the Eco Resort inside Sundarban by local transport ( 1.5 Hours ) - Relax at the Resort. - In the evening do an activity: Canal Cruising/Village Tour. - Overnight stay at an Eco-Resort inside Sundarban.

After checking out from the resort, we will start for Bagerhat which is called the city of mosques. This city itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Shait-Gumbad Mosque
The Sixty Dome Mosque is a mosque in Bagerhat, Bangladesh. It is a part of the Mosque City of Bagerhat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest mosque in Bangladesh from the sultanate period (1352–1576). It was built during the Bengal Sultanate by Khan Jahan Ali, the governor of the Sundarbans. It has been described as one of the most impressive Muslim monuments in the whole of South Asia.
Tomb of Khan Jahan Ali
Khan Jahan Ali was a Muslim saint and the Khan-i-Azam of Khalifatabad (now in Bangladesh). It is believed that he built the great Mosque City of Bagerhat, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit the Tomb of Khan Jahan Ali and start our return journey towards Dhaka. Around 9 PM, we will reach Dhaka and drop you at your hotel/Airport. End of the tour.

5.00Hello, we have made 3 tours with Cholo and Rocky the manager was very fast and with clear answers every time we had questions and to help us to organise. Merci Rocky :) Nuhash was our guide for the 3 tours (fotography/sunderban/ sreemangal) and he gave everithing to make the tours the best as possible, and in Ramadan Zeit it was not always so easy for him. Cholo was a real help for us because it's not so easy to travel in Bangladesh compare to India for example. we havent seen ANY tourist in 3 Weeks.. Rocky booked us also 2 trains ticket without charge for our tour in Rajshahi, its almost impossible for foreigners to do it. the choice of hotels was over our expectation and rocky always asked if everythings was ok and was ready to change anything. tops hotels in Sreemangal and Syhlet. and Last but not least, they are the cheapest we found on the market, and they are relieable, in Bangladesh like anywhere its to appreciate. thanks you very much for your great Job Cholo we recommend and will contact again when we come again :)

5.00Hello, we booked the Sunderban Tour in a different way with Cholo Tours and it was a good choice. First you sleep in a confortable eco lodge with delicious food (for us fresh fish every day but you can ask for meat if you want) with delicious vegetable. The tour starts from Dhacca with pick with ac car from our hotel, good car good driver and great guide Nuhash with we made also other tours (Foto-Tour in Dhakha and Sreemangal/ Sylhet Tour. The organisation is very professionnel for all tours. They react very very quickly to our demands and are also at best price compare to other ones. They ( Cholo and Nuhash) helped us a lot and cared also when my wife was sick to go to the Hospital or buy medicaments. They are reliable. We should say that the situation in Bangladesh was not easy as we were during Ramadan there, Nuhash found always a place to eat for us and gave us a lot of informations about the culture and the uses of Bengal. These small review is the minimum we can do to thanks Rocky and Nuhash from Cholo Tours for all the efforts they made yo make our holiday the best as possible 😀🙃🫠 Claudia et Didier Pulcini

5.00The Tour with its three days duration was perfect for our plans because we had only one week for vacation. We had many nice activities like phishing, drink black tea with milk with local people or play a game of Carrom (next time I will be better :)). But we had also time to explore the area around the Ressort on our own. The food was very delicious. Our guide Rocky was available every time. He explained the local culture to us and helped us with everything like booking train ticket because it’s not possible for foreigners. If you are lucky and get Rocky as a guide you will have a great time in Bangladesh. Thaks a lot to him for this unforgettable experience!

5.00It was the best trip ever. Our guide, Rocky, not only gave us advice about the tour, but also about trains and travel after the tour. The tour allowed us to experience everything from comfortable car travel, fishing, participating in festivals, local markets, local restaurants, interacting with local people, the zoo, and nature. In particular, the coconuts were the best thing I've ever experienced!! He explained things in an easy-to-understand way, even for someone like me who can't speak English. I highly recommend this tour, especially for Japanese people on short trips! Rocky is the best, as he emailed us with information even after the tour. Joining this tour on the first day of my trip made the rest of my trip more meaningful! Bangladesh is the best!!
