Dong Sticks is a joyful body–mind practice created by an elderly master to maintain suppleness into old age. The sixteen mindful movements, supported by a bamboo cane, promote agility, joint strength, flexibility, stress relief, and greater mental clarity and balance.
At dawn, we gather on the beach, accompanied by the soothing sound of waves and the gentle warmth of the morning sun, a natural source of vitamin D. The session begins with calming breathing exercises to relax the body and mind, before your instructor guides you through the sixteen motions with the aid of a bamboo stick to stretch, strengthen, and enhance flexibility.
This rejuvenating practice is completed within a 50-minute session.
