From its summit, you will witness an incomparable panorama: the majestic basin of Lake Atitlan guarded by its three volcanic guardians: San Pedro Volcano, Atitlan Volcano and Tolimán Volcano. On clear days, the show spreads even further, allowing you to see in the distance the imposing Volcano of Fire, Volcano Acatenango and Volcano of Water, located near La Antigua Guatemala.

Once the group is ready, we will board our bus or car to leave for the entrance of the trail. Get ready to explore!
San Juan la Laguna
Our tour continues to San Juan, officially designated "Pueblo Magico" thanks to its unique beauty and vibrant culture. Famous for its colorful streets and artistic murals, this tourist town has all the services: lodging, restaurants, coffee shops, bars and tour agencies. Transportation is done on our designated bus.

5.00Great experience!! The driver picked us up on the doorstep of our hotel at 3:50am. After picking up other travelers along the way we parked at the bottom of the climb and started our trek in the dark (make sure to bring a headlamp or a flashlight as this tour didn't provide any!). It was about a 45min climb up a well maintained path. It gets steep at parts but nothing too bad overall. The guide didn't talk a whole lot but he was kind and did his best to answer specific questions. The view at the top was breathtaking. Enjoy the included coffee and hot chocolate and watch the sun rise above the horizon and light up the lake, hills, and towns below.

5.00Nice early start to get there before the crowds, steep ascent to the top, but Jeffrey our guide asked us regularly if we wanted to rest. When we got to the top we were offered Coffee and bread, which was welcomed by us all. Then the main act to watch a beautiful sunrise over Lake Atitilan - unbelievable views and loads of snaps to be had. A fantastic experience for us alll!!! Oh and we saw two volcanoes erupting with small plumes of smoke!!!!

5.00Our guide was communicative and went at our pace. We needed to take many breaks but he was helpful and had no issues with it! The company itself was difficult to reach to confirm pickup location and time but after contacting Viator support they reached out immediately. Overall it was good and I’d book again.

5.00The guides were two brothers who were very kind and enthusiastic about teaching us about the view and agricultural practices of the villages. They picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off very timely as promised. Great communication through WhatsApp. Great hike with breathtaking views. They served hot chocolate at the top which was perfect. Definitely a must-do while at the lake.

5.00Very punctual! Pretty easy short hike to the top of Indian nose! Thought it was so sweet they had hot cocoa or coffee for everyone. The tour guide was informative and made sure to take enough breaks. He was on the top of making sure we were all together (it gets crowded going up) Got to spend, what I thought, more than enough time at the top. Wish the clouds weren’t so active but that’s nothing they can control. When they did pick us up from San Marcos they were right on time. Pick up from San Marcos is the basketball court- not your hotel. My ticket pickup was wrong and I’m glad I reached out.

5.00We had a great time on this hike! Everything was really well organized from the start. We received clear instructions ahead of time about what to bring, where to meet, and the start time, which made the early morning a lot easier. Pick-up was at 4:15 a.m., followed by about a 30-minute bus ride to the trailhead. Headlamps were also provided, which was really helpful since we started hiking in the dark. From there, the hike to the top took about 40 minutes and felt very manageable. Our guide, Jef, was friendly, informative, and really helpful throughout the hike. He made sure everyone stayed safe, gave us breaks when needed, and kept a steady pace so the whole group could make it to the top comfortably. He also briefed us on Mayan History around the lake. At the summit, we were treated to warm bread and hot chocolate, which was the perfect reward after the climb. The view was amazing and definitely made the 3:00 a.m. alarm worth it. Overall, it was a really fun experience and I’d definitely recommend it! Thank you, Jef!!! ✨

4.00The hike is fairly easy although it is very steep towards the end. Note: response time for confirmation of pick-up location is ~11/12 hours. Pick-up location can be modified for a fee of $10 per person. Pick-up and drop off mode of transport also varies from boat/van/tuk-tuk. After the logistics are out the way it’s a great experience.
