What To Expect
Potamies
Starting from your hotel we head to “Potamies” an Authentic Cretan village.There we will make our first stop, in a traditional mitato where we will meet a local shepherd with his family.
Aposelemis Dam
Wandering among the gardens of the village with the fresh fruits and vegetables of the season and the aromas we will reach the dam of Aposelemis, the largest water supply project in Crete. The village of Sfendili is submerged in the waters of the dam with its impressive old houses fading on the surface of the water.

5.00We visited in early June and booked the Sunset Tour as a family. Our driver spoke perfect English and was super friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. He showed us lots of amazing places and told us many interesting things along the way. The whole tour had a great atmosphere, the nature was beautiful, and the food was really delicious. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this tour to others! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00What an amazing tour! The night was perfect from start to finish and I will never forget the beautiful sunset. How apt that out guide Ilias was named after the Greek god of the sun as he was a ray of sunshine the whole trip! Me and my husband loved the whole journey and felt so privileged to have a glass of fizz on top of my favourite part of the world watching the stunning sunset. The stop off at the farm was lovely (best raki in Crete) and the food at the taverna was quite possibly the BEST dinner we have had here on the island. Don't think about doing this trip, just book as you will NOT be disappointed.

5.00Fabulous tour with Nicos and a beautiful way to see the sunset. Lovely meal at the taverna in Krassi and even some Greek dancing for someone's birthday. Nicosia also made a short stop on the way back for us to observe the night sky with no background lighting. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Nick was so fun! This was the highlight of our trip. Off roading, goats, food, views, and good times in the mountains of Crete. If you are thinking about taking this trip, don't hesitate, just book it!

5.00Absolutely brilliant. Our driver Nick was fantastic very informative and made the whole experience very enjoyable. This was our second excursion with the Safari Experts and highly recommend.We had a lovely meal in a village.Unfortunately it was cloudy but it didn't spoil our trip as Nick was so funny. Crazy off road driving but felt very safe in Nick's hands.

5.00Have just been on 4x4 safari sunset jeep tour, it was such fun absolutely fabulous, excellent value for money . Off roading right to the top of the mountains with sparking wine to watch the sunset, loads of photos. Then off for dinner at a beautiful little Tavern for a very tasty meal with wine and dancing . We also stopped off to feed the mountain goats which was such fun 😆our driver (sorry can’t remember his name was excellent looked after us well ,took loads of photos of us all(.highly recommend this trip excellent value for money and such a lot of fun /laughs .

5.00We were with our driver ELIAS on an adventurous tour towards the plateau at 1000 m. He speaks very good German and English and gave us a lot of information about the country and people. so you could get an impression away from the hotel facilities...The final sunset was great.
