What To Expect
Duration of the surf lesson is 2 hours. First, there will be a 30 minute explanation on safety, surf conditions and of course techniques to paddle and stand up. We will also stretch to ensure the body is warm and prepared for activity. Then 1 hour and 30 minutes will be your chance to get in the water and practice, practice, practice. Big boards are cool too! This is one of the best beginner surfing tips that you can follow. Many people are tempted to jump on a smaller, shorter board as quickly as possible. A bigger board will help you to develop your surfing skills and you'll get more waves (and fun) in the early stage.

5.00Ari is the perfect surf instructor to improve your surfing. It doesn't matter what level you are - he knows how to challenge you individually to get better. In the water he always made me feel safe and respected my wishes. With his explanations and encouraging words he created a comfortable atmosphere that made it easy to focus on the improvements in the water. I surfed with Ari a few times and I always left the water with a big smile on my face. Thanks to Ari my surfing got a lot better.

5.00I had my second surf lesson with Arie in canggu and I just learnt so much within 2 hours. He made me feel so confident and safe even when I am scared of the ocean and waves. I found a new passion now and got so many advices of Arie for the future. Thank you so much for having me and the funny but also educational lesson. The next surf lesson in Bali I will definitely do with Arie!

5.00Arie is the best surf teacher in Bali, I had so much fun and really enjoyed the surf lesson!! Arie is very patient and gives great advice so that I learned to stand up on the board quickly and could catch some nice waves, even as a total beginner! I would definitely book him again.

5.00The teacher, Arie, is literally amazing teacher!!! His surf teaching is not only telling what is the wrong but also telling what is the correct and demonstrating how to do that. And also, he tells me what I can do now and what is the next step clearly. It makes easier to understand which level I am now, and encourages me to be the next level!! His personality, teaching, technique and professionalism are the best qualities in Canggu!
