Surf lesson in Rancho Tarzan, you will learn the basics of surfing with a relaxed and personalized approach. Our local instructors will guide you on the beach and in the water, you will take tide information, surf techniques. 5.00I had spent 10 days learning to surf elsewhere in Costa Rica and reached out to Darshan when I arrived in Puerto Viejo to continue learning. I’d been struggling to progress from the whitewater to catching green waves, but Darshan picked a spot where I could take it back a step and build confidence in my basic technique, each day mastering a new skill until I felt ready to try the point break at Punta Uva. We spent a few more days there where I was able I to improve even more and caught some nice waves! Darshan was a great teacher always giving helpful feedback to improve and clear instruction. Cami also joined us on a couple of days and took some really nice photos, and every lesson ended with a refreshing coconut :) would highly recommend if you’re looking to learn or improve your surfing skills! Muchisimas gracias Darshan and Cami, pura vida! ✌🏼

5.00Amazing surf instructor, best surf lesson in Costa Rica! He choose the best spot with nobody there and perfect waves! At the end he brought us fresh coco and bananas! They took amazing photo of us! It was amazing!

5.00The best surf instructor I've ever had! He is not only a great teacher, but also a lifesaver, so from the very beginning you feel safe and in good hands. You can tell right away how well you can read the waves, and thanks to your patience it is much easier to catch a wave. He is also a very positive and friendly person. As a final detail, he even gave us fresh fruit at the end. I totally recommend it!

5.00Best surfing experience so far. Tarzan our instructor was guiding us the whole time. Pricing is very good for the experience you’ll get. We were surfing for about two hours and we had some fresh fruit right at the end. 20 out of 10 experience. Definitely worth it

5.00It has been many years since I surfed a couple of times. Darshan took me to a very nice spot where I could directly ride easy green waves. He is a great guy and an incredible teacher! Because of my awesome experience my afraid of waves girlfriend tried surfing for the first time and loved it. Due to Darshans calm and supporting teaching she was able to feel confident in the water. 100% recommended and would always do it again.

5.00First time surfer here, I learned a ton with Darshan, from the basics to actually getting out in the water. I had a great time, and felt completely taken care of and safe throughout (even though I am usually trepidatious of sports that involve water and swimming -- especially as a contact lens-wearer). Definitely would love to surf with Darshan again. Great teacher!!!!

5.00My girlfriend and I arrived to the Carribean coast as beginners and under Darshan’s guidance fell in love with the sport. Darshan has an amazing ability to instill confidence, teach you how to read the waves, understand rip tides and help you jump multiple surf levels. We had 6 lessons and can’t wait until our next getaway. I can't recommend highly enough. We’ll miss Darshan, Camila and Pepper! Pura Vida

5.00Darshan’s first piece of advise was to have fun and enjoy the experience. I’m not comfortable in the open water and he made sure I was in order to build confidence. If you get discouraged he’s there to lift you up and when you’re finally up and surfing he’s there to celebrate with you. I’d recommend this experience for anyone that’s considered trying to surf but not sure.
