Carcavelos Surf School is one of the first and most recognized Surf Schools in Portugal. With our great team of Coaches and Top Equipment, Surfing becomes much easier and safe to learn! If conditions are not the best at Carcavelos we will take you to Costa da Caparica.

5.00We came as a family of 6 to Lisbon and decide def the kids should try surfing as they have always wanted to. This takes a lot of muscle. Be prepared. my kids said it was hard but a lot of fun. I believe they would try it again.

5.00Honestly the best surf lesson I ever got. Pedro was so knowledgeable and gave me personalized tips instead of generic ones I received from other surf schools. I stood up consistently after some pointers so it's a big win. Also, the beach is amazing and beautiful, be sure to take pics!

5.00We took a surf & life lesson with Pedro in Caparica. First, he has been flexible for the location of the pick-up. Then as a coach he was very patient and efficient. In fact, one of us was a beginner and Pedro took a lot of dedication to help him ride his first wave :) Amazing experience !

5.00Fantastic lesson with Pedro, couldn’t recommend it enough! A transfer from Lisbon was super convenient, the beach was lovely and our instructor Pedro was exceptional. Both me and my boyfriend managed to stand on the board for the first time after Pedro’s instructions and had a few good surfs!

5.00We had a wonderful day at Carcavelos beach. The guys from Carcavelos Surf School were very nice and have a super positive vibe. We had a surf lesson for the first time and had so much fun. Especially the surf instructor Nuno was very nice and took a lot of time for us. The beach and the surf school are a must do when in Portugal.

5.00Booked a surf day with my boyfriend. Skipped the transfer and lived in Carcavelos. Worked great. They divided the group based on experience. Very service minded and friendly. Booked another day after the first lesson. Totally worth it!

5.00The experience was so great!!! I’m super uncoordinated and they were so supportive and helpful. I’m horrendous at surfing, but they still made the experience so so fun. 10/10, shout out to emberto for being so patient and kind!!!
