What To Expect
During your surf lessons, you’ll get hands-on guidance to catch your first wave or refine your technique. Here’s what you can expect: Introduction to Surfing: You’ll start with a quick briefing where we explain the basics of surfing, like how to paddle, balance, and pop up on your board. Safety Tips: We’ll cover essential safety rules, ocean awareness, and how to stay safe while enjoying the waves. You’ll also learn how to identify the best waves and surf conditions for your skill level. Warm-up and Stretching: To prepare your body, we’ll do some warm-up exercises to ensure you’re loose and ready to move in the water. Surfboard Introduction: You’ll be introduced to your surfboard, how to position it, and how to care for it. We’ll ensure you’re comfortable before heading into the water. Paddling and Catching Waves: We’ll guide you as you practice paddling and getting used to the feeling of being on the board. Then, you’ll try catching some small, manageable waves under the supervision of your instructor. Pop-up Practice: You’ll practice the movement of popping up from lying down to standing on the board, first on the beach, then out in the water when you’re ready

5.00Surfing in Taghazout is excellent. My instructor was superb. He was patient and a very good teacher. I’m a beginner surfer and I managed to have fun and learn how to stand up on the surf board.

5.00We had great fun surfing for the first time in Taghazout. The staff and the owner of Yalla are super friendly and are always around to help or answer questions. SuSu war a really patient and good instructor - always fun and constructive. We totally recommend going here if you’re looking for lessons or want to rent a board!

5.00Yalla is a great surf shop with a super friendly team. Booking surf lessons was always straightforward and very spontaneous. I had private lessons with Jawad, who explained the technique to me very understandably and always corrected me. His ambitious and motivating nature makes progress quickly. The lessons were a lot of fun and often Jawad even took more time and covered the lessons. Yallah I recommend to everyone!

5.00We were met with really friendly staff. Our surf coach was a really lovely young guy Sou Sou, who was brilliant at teaching us complete newbies. By the end of our lesson we were able to ride a few waves. Really fun and will definitely come back again one day

5.00We would really recommend doing your surf lessons with the Yalla Surf Shop. Not only was the price very reasonable but the instructors were thorough, fun and encouraging. We learned all the basics and in the end we all managed to stand on the board and were even able to continue by ourselves. Since we were a small group it was easier to get personal directions and they even used a GoPro to film us and sent us the surf videos too. Highly recommend!
