What To Expect

During your surf lessons, you’ll get hands-on guidance to catch your first wave or refine your technique. Here’s what you can expect: Introduction to Surfing: You’ll start with a quick briefing where we explain the basics of surfing, like how to paddle, balance, and pop up on your board. Safety Tips: We’ll cover essential safety rules, ocean awareness, and how to stay safe while enjoying the waves. You’ll also learn how to identify the best waves and surf conditions for your skill level. Warm-up and Stretching: To prepare your body, we’ll do some warm-up exercises to ensure you’re loose and ready to move in the water. Surfboard Introduction: You’ll be introduced to your surfboard, how to position it, and how to care for it. We’ll ensure you’re comfortable before heading into the water. Paddling and Catching Waves: We’ll guide you as you practice paddling and getting used to the feeling of being on the board. Then, you’ll try catching some small, manageable waves under the supervision of your instructor. Pop-up Practice: You’ll practice the movement of popping up from lying down to standing on the board, first on the beach, then out in the water when you’re ready

We had a FANTASTIC lesson with Yalla surfing. We are a group of 4 friends, all beginners to surfing, and we were very apprehensive at the start of the lesson. We were reassured by the lovely workers at Yalla who instilled us with much confidence and after a few hours we felt like pros! The teacher was helpful, patient and very hands on. I would recommend again and again, especially for the price!

Our son really enjoyed his whole day surfing in the ocean. First he had 2 hour lesson and after that he could enjoy the equipment for the rest of the day

I found this surf shop completely spontaneously online. Everything was quite fast and very easy. As soon as I booked a time slot, the instructor messaged me right away, asked about my level, and explained the conditions. Overall, the communication was excellent. The next day I went to the surf shop. We were assigned an instructor in a small group. Everything was well organized, fun, and there was a great atmosphere. I really enjoyed talking to the instructor and got some useful tips. Later, I had to go back into town and left my things at the surf shop, then went surfing again in the afternoon with the board, which was really cool because they let you use the board again if you want. This is included in the service. Overall, I was very happy with the experience and I can definitely recommend this company❤️

Surfing in Taghazout is excellent. My instructor was superb. He was patient and a very good teacher. I’m a beginner surfer and I managed to have fun and learn how to stand up on the surf board.
Totally recommend going here!

We had great fun surfing for the first time in Taghazout. The staff and the owner of Yalla are super friendly and are always around to help or answer questions. SuSu war a really patient and good instructor - always fun and constructive. We totally recommend going here if you’re looking for lessons or want to rent a board!

Yalla is a great surf shop with a super friendly team. Booking surf lessons was always straightforward and very spontaneous. I had private lessons with Jawad, who explained the technique to me very understandably and always corrected me. His ambitious and motivating nature makes progress quickly. The lessons were a lot of fun and often Jawad even took more time and covered the lessons. Yallah I recommend to everyone!
