What To Expect
Join us on a customised half-day surf trip to suit your level of experience and the local weather conditions! We'll take you on an adventure to the best surf spots around Bali, and coach you from learning how to paddle and stand up, to riding the wave like a pro! We'll start with a coffee and a chat about surfing, so you'll know exactly what to expect when we venture into the water. If you're a beginner - we'll spend some time on the beach practicing your pop-up, so that you're steady on your feet when the waves start rolling. We'll then head out in to the surf. We'll support you to read and catch the waves, and give you feedback to ensure you're constantly learning and improving. After up to 2 hours in the water (depending on how long you want to stay!), we will head back out and debrief. We can arrange pick-up and drop-off, and will work with you to choose the best surf spot on the day.

5.00I went surfing with my daughters boyfriend who had never surfed before. They catered for both of our skill levels and made sure we had a good time. We were picked up from our Villa and dropped back again.

5.00Had a fantastic half day surf tour with Wave Dancers. They catered to our family of mixed ability surfers and found a break to suit both. The more experienced surfer went to the back breaks while the coaches helped our beginner teens. Really good tour for families. Thank you.

5.00Markus was a great instructor, I had never surfed before and it was a great 1 on 1. Good brief before going in the sea and corrected me as we went along, and I managed to get up on the board pretty quick because of it. The lesson took place in kuta. I’ll be sure to book again, if I come back to Bali.

5.00I was referred to Wave Dancers by a friend. I have never surfed before and booked a session to learn the basics. Markus' instruction was excellent, he gave a great safety brief before we started, which put my mind at ease. He was very patient and broke down each stage through a demonstration and explanation. I was very impressed by how well he could explain the technique in English. When we went into the water, Markus was very confident and gave clear instructions that helped me feel safe. He was concise when giving feedback about my form and knew how to fault-check what I was doing wrong. Through positive feedback and encouragement, I was able to stand up on the board in less than 30 minutes, which I thought was never going to happen, after the first few attempts of falling off the board. After one hour, I was catching the wave without assistance. I was so stoked to have such a positive experience and would recommend Markus to anyone. Markus was very respectful, patient, and kind. I look forward to getting more coaching from Markus, when I return to Bali.

5.00I can’t say enough good things about them 10/10 from first day till finish I take 5 lesson with them and everyday is something new for me Sardo and Markus is not just coach but they become such a good friends. I’m been surf before in other country but I am fall in love surfing more because of them. They also recommend some good place to visit in Bali and introduce to some of the best people in here. Can’t wait to come back next year

Markus is the only surf instructor you’ll ever need- he made my experience of surfing in Bali the absolute highlight of my stay.
