Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor—we truly enjoyed the trip with him. It would be wonderful if he could share the group photos with us on WhatsApp so we can keep these great memories.

I loved seeing the Hwaseong Fortress. It was so much easier for me to picture Seoul in the Joseon era after seeing the site. There is a lot of walking and it’s hilly but it’s beautiful. I thought the palaces in Seoul were more interesting but enjoyed seeing the destination of a famous historical event, the queen’s birthday party. Midday we stopped for lunch at the mall where the Starfield Library is located. It’s a pretty place and quite popular for selfies. However it’s not the one I was expecting which turned out to be in Gangham. (I visited that one separately and probably wouldn’t do that again. It’s a madhouse!) The rest of the tour consisted of visiting the folk village which I was happy to see. The houses are authentic although recreated onsite for historical interest. Through all of this our guide, Peter, was interesting, informative and fun.

Its a full day full of interesting sights quite a bit of walking too. Guide Philip very nice, little hard to understand he only used coach microphone once that didn't help. Coach an old Daewoo 23 of us. Nice lunch options at the mall on ground floor. Library quite interesting there too.

We had an excellent tour to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, made even better by our guide Philip. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history and significance of the site, but also brought a great sense of humour that kept the whole group engaged throughout the day. Philip did a fantastic job keeping everyone together and ensuring we stayed on schedule without ever feeling rushed. Everything ran smoothly, and we were able to fully enjoy each stop along the way. The highlights for us were the two cultural demonstrations, which were both fascinating and well-timed, as well as a visit to the stunning Starfield Library, which was an unexpected and memorable addition to the day. Highly recommend this tour—especially if you get Philip as your guide

Quite good except that it was cold, wet and muddy puddles as it was a rainy day. No shows at Korean Folk Village due to rain. Daniel was good so highly recommended.

We enjoy ourselves, our tour guide was Daniel (Oppa) , he gave us a good history introduction, the place they took us for lunch was a mall, it was great , the library was so impressive, the folk village was very nice. We enjoyed ourselves with the variety of the places visited. Daniel was very flexible, since it rained most of our tour, we accomplished all the sites of the tour. His English was very good and his story telling was engaging and interesting.
