What To Expect

Table Mountain

After hotel pick-up, we begin our tour by firstly visiting Table Mountain. A beautiful morning to see the City, when you get here you will have the option of using the cableway to the top or hiking all the way to the top. Here you will enjoy the breathtaking views of Cape Town City and the amazing breeze from the ocean, take plenty of pictures and selfies then we head on to our next stop.

Constantia Glen Winery

After Table Mountain, we will set off on our Constantia Winelands private tour which we have dubbed: The Simon van der Stel wine tour. We will travel from Cape Town along the M3 passing Rhodes Memorial and the University of Cape Town (UCT) and proceed on the M41 to our first wine stop for the day which is Constantia Glen wine estate. Perched high up on the hill with amazing views of mountains and vineyards, Constantia Glen was originally part of the Simon van der Stel farm. After undergoing farming changes including forest hills farming and cattle stud farming, it returned to its original farming of wine. The wine production is 70% Red and 30% White cultivars.

We wanted a fun , private and chilled day tour including table mountain and views and 3 Constantia wineries . This trip was perfect . Jean was an excellent guide . He was prompt for collection , knowledgeable , drove well and safely and made us feel safe and insured throughout the day . Table mountain cable car was shut due to high winds but Jean made sure we still got plenty of opportunities to see the mountain from various spots . He also added in a stop to Bo-Kaap as we had a bit of extra time . We also needed to go to a supermarket so he happily took us to a great one and waited . Made it so easy . The wineries were wonderful . Groot Constantia , Klein Constantia and Buitenfurvachting . All in all a great day and perfect tour in Cape Town .
