We don't visit the same stops every day, we have better relations with the establishments, and we can also cater to unique requests from our guests. We never use chain restaurants or tourist traps, and we can guarantee you will leave our tour full.
We will also highlight all the other top places to dine in town. After all, you need to eat three times a day, so knowing what and where to eat is essential to an enjoyable vacation. As such, our tour is suitable for everyone. We also accommodate most dietary restrictions, except for vegans.

What To Expect
We will begin the tour in the reception of the Old Town Chambers, Autograph Collection Hotel, located between the Luckenbooths and Angels with Bagpipes restaurants.

5.00We had a spectacular experience with Skye on his tour! Not only did we get great food and bevvies, but also a great tour of central Edinburgh history and highlights. Skye has a well-curated group of stops, and a good sense of humor to keep the day moving. The small group limit ensured we all had time to ask questions, and to enjoy the small meals and treats along the walking route. Worth every penny, and we recommend Skye's tour; one of the best we've ever experienced.

She provided details about the food history as well as stories. The food was also delicious! Nichola was friendly and considerate of all our needs. I highly recommend this tour! Worth every penny!

5.00Nichola with thetreuscottours was amazing. She not only knew her Scottish foods but the history and traditions behind all the dishes. The classic dishes we had were haggis, Cullen skink, whiskey, high tea with scones. She shared a bit about the balmoral chicken, scotch eggs, scotch pie, Scottish breakfast and cranachan. We were surprised when she took us to an Indian restaurant, but they serve a special Tiki Masala that is only served in Scotland. We finished with gelato that is freshly made by a Scottish couple daily. Very tasty. It was such a fun time and very educational. Highly recommend!!!!

5.00I did the Edinburgh food tour with Skye last Saturday and had a fantastic time! He was so knowledgeable about both Edinburgh's history and food. Every corner had a fact and a tasty bite! We had coffee, scones, fudge, whisky, Cullen skink, haggis neeps and tatties, tomatoes and burrata, rye bread, chicken or paneer masala and ice cream. Stunning! I couldn't recommend Skye and his yours more.
