Locally owned and operated, this is not your average food tour. We visit exceptional restaurants and other stops serving superior-quality food. Our guides are some of the most experienced in town. We're different because every tour is unique.
We don't visit the same stops every day, we have better relations with the establishments, and we can also cater to unique requests from our guests. We never use chain restaurants or tourist traps, and we can guarantee you will leave our tour full.
We will also highlight all the other top places to dine in town. After all, you need to eat three times a day, so knowing what and where to eat is essential to an enjoyable vacation. As such, our tour is suitable for everyone. We also accommodate most dietary restrictions, except for vegans.
Don't settle for a food tour that uses chain restaurants and tourist traps serving microwaved food, without care for its guides, guests, or restaurants, and that prioritizes drinks over food. Join us instead.

I recently did the "Premium Tailored Edinburgh" food tour with Nichola and if I could rate it 11/10 i would. She was an absolute delight, the food was awesome, and the history along the tour was a great bonus. We sampled five different food items (no spoilers) along a few different locations, with short walking between each spot. Every dish we tried was unique from the last and was influential to Scotland in some manner It was great getting to walk around town and see a few different sites along the way. Both the dishes and the history was expertly explained by our guide Nichola. Nichola is what really set this tour apart from others we have taken. She was warm and engaing while guiding us throughn the foods/locations. I really appreciated that she introduced us to authentic dishes while explaining their significance and the tradition behind them or how they originated. Each tasting item felt thoughtfully chosen and she even offered us two choices for one location, so they really do tailor this based on preference and weather. Her insight into Scottish history, customs, and local life added so much depth to the experience that I was not expecting when we originally booked. There was just 2 of us in the group, which could have felt awkward, but she handled it effortlessly with charm. She made the tour feel incredibly personal by engaging us in easy conversation encouraging/asking questions, and tailoring the experience so it felt like a private tour rather than a limitation due to the small size. Her genuine enthusiasm made the entire tour enjoyable, even when we were just walking from spot to spot. This will be the 5th food tour that I have gone on and the small touches that Nicola added has made it the best one yet. Not onyly that, but Nichola offered us advice on other places to eat after the tour, the best places to shop locally, other must see attractions that we shouldnt skip, etc. when our tour ended. (I was honestly disappointed when the tour came to an end. thats how wonderful it was.) I cant imagine a better guide and this experience will remain a standout highlight of my time in Edinburgh. Thank you so much Nichola!

This was hands-down one of the best food tours I’ve ever done and a huge part of that was our phenomenal guide Skye. As a solo traveler, one of the most frustrating things is having tours canceled because there “aren’t enough people.” That never happened here. From the start, I felt welcomed, valued, and genuinely looked after...not just slotted into a group. What made this tour exceptional is that it didn’t just take us to popular spots, he took us to true masters of their craft. Every stop was chosen with care and purpose. As we walked through Edinburgh’s streets, we weren’t just eating... we were learning the history of the neighborhoods, the stories behind the food, and even how to spot authentic local shops versus tourist-grade, overseas-made products. That alone made the experience feel deeper and more meaningful. And the food… outstanding. Every dish came with rich stories, history, and context that made it taste even better. You could feel how much pride and knowledge went into every recommendation. The tour is called tailored, and yes, it truly was. At one point, he casually mentioned another shop that wasn’t even on the itinerary. I was quietly thinking about how I might sneak back later to try it… and somehow he picked up on my excitement and made it our next stop. That level of attentiveness was incredible. This tour felt personal, thoughtful, and full of genuine care. Not rushed, not scripted, and never generic. I cannot recommend this enough for any food lover (so basically everyone), and especially for solo travelers looking for an experience that actually feels human, warm, and memorable. If you’re in Edinburgh, book this. You won’t regret it.

It was so much fun. Our guide was funny and the people we met were lovely. The food was so tasty. We went to six different places and I won’t spoil it by telling you what we had but it was worth the money
