This day trip is guaranteed to make your stay in the island unforgettable. This tour has adrenaline and adventure, history and archeology, beautiful scenery and beaches. The drive to Arecibo is About an hour and it is beautiful from start to finish. We arrive and begin our hike to the cave of the Taino. Bring good shoes as the hike is quite rocky. The entrance to the cave is not for claustrophobic people. it is bit challenging but with our careful instructions you will be able to get inside (barring any physical conditions that hinder you). The cave is other worldly. You get transported to the past as you see the over 100 carvings in the stone that are hundreds, maybe thousands, of years old. After we exit the cave we will hike through the famous 7 arches of Arecibo. The arches are natural rock formations which can be appreciated in pictures, but only in person will you realize how beautiful it all really is. Last we visit a non-touristy beach that is amazing!

Cueva Del Indio
Get ready for the most unique experience in your life! First we meet up in Condado. From there you ride with us. The drive is about an hour and takes us to the heart of Arecibo. Arecibo is one of the cities with the richest historical legacies in all of Puerto Rico. The drive itself is very beautiful, but our first destination is absolutely breathtaking. When we get there we will do a short hike (wear good sneakers) to the mouth of the cave! Keep your cameras handy because the views are out of this world. The cave of the Taino Indian is a small cave system that is a historical and archeological wonderland! This cave is literally covered in Taino stone carvings. It is breathtaking and the scenery even more so! After we exit the cave, we make our way to the 7 arches to take in the amazing views. After another short hike back to the car, we head out to a beautiful beach in Arecibo as well. This tour will give you a taste of the Caribbean lifestyle/history/culture.

Eduard was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable about Puerto Rico as a whole and genuinely a charismatic, down to earth person who keep my family and the entire group engaged the entire time! Would definitely recommend Eduard as an English and Spanish speaking guide! 10/10.

This tour was amazing! My guide Fabiola was the best and she took the time to explain all the history behind the Taino Cave. The transport from San Juan was also great. I highly recommend this tour.

We did the tour with my mom and it was very good. The places are incredibly beautiful. The climb to the caves is a bit tough, but the view is worth it. Edward was an excellent guide, he knows a lot and is always willing to help. You can tell he is a great person. I recommend it.

A fun trip with nature and archaeology! We were surprised to show up at the meet up point to find out we were the only ones to have booked this tour at that time slot; I know some tour companies would have canceled if the tour was empty so we are super grateful to our guide Kenyon and the company for proceeding with our booking. The cave entrance/exit was a little tricky, but Kenyon was very helpful guiding us on where to place our hands and feet to enter the cave. Once you're inside, there aren't really any more tricky parts to climb or navigate until you need to exit. We saw various Taino stone carvings that have withstood the test of time and they are so cool. My favorite was the jellyfish! The cave and surrounding waters were admirable in and of itself. We saw a sea turtle in the distance, and Kenyon mentioned that whales and rays could occasionally be seen as well. The beach trip afterwards was beautiful, and we did not feel rushed to wrap up the tour as we lounged on the sand. We got to wade in the beautiful waters, and we were even given towels and bottled water in case we needed it. Overall, great experience! Would love to do this experience again and try to see the whales and rays next time!

This tour was the highlight of my trip and I’ll never forget my experience with Fabiola! She made the whole day spectacular- She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, accommodating and patient. Climbing inside the cave was a little scary but she was so encouraging and helpful guiding me through every step. Plus she took great photos for me as a solo traveler and she was so easy to talk to. It shows just how much she loves her job. All of the views, the history, the beach and the food stop were phenomenal, don’t miss out & book!!!!
