On arrival in Tajikistan, a local guide and driver will meet the group to take them on a scenic journey to explore the ancient city of Panjakent. We will see our main part Seven lakes on Fann mountains. This experience takes you deep into authentic Tajik village life, surrounded by peaceful mountain scenery. You will explore the colorful local bazaar, where villagers sell fresh produce, spices, handmade goods, and daily essentials — offering a true taste of Tajik culture. The tour continues to the stunning Seven Lakes, each with its own color and charm.

We will pick you up from Samarkand and drive you to Jartepa, the Tajikistan border.
Seven Lakes
At the Seven Lakes, travelers can enjoy one of the most scenic natural areas of Tajikistan. Each lake has its own unique color and character, ranging from deep blue to emerald green. Visitors can stop at every lake, take beautiful photos, and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere. Travelers can also take short hikes between some of the lakes, walking through small villages and meeting local families who live in the mountains. Many visitors enjoy having tea or a homemade lunch in a traditional guesthouse, where they can experience the warm hospitality of the people. The Seven Lakes area is also perfect for picnics, nature walks, and observing rural mountain life. Travelers can see traditional houses, livestock, and fields, giving them a deeper understanding of local culture. For adventure lovers, there are optional longer hikes with stunning panoramic views

5.00We had a fantastic 1-day tour from Samarkand to the Seven Lakes in Tajikistan. Our guide, Murod, was excellent, very helpful, professional, and knew all the best spots for views. We didn't make it to the 7th lake (not possible at winter), but the 6th lake was beautiful and a highlight of the trip. Murod also took some great photos of us throughout the day, which is greatly appreciated! He took us to a local restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious, authentic Tajik dish. If you're looking for a smooth and memorable trip to Tajikistan, I highly recommend booking with Murod!

5.00If you're in doubt, you definitely should go!! There was a magnificent landscape that you had to see in person to understand, and only the sound of birds and wind blowing! A very quiet space, with only ourselves, was extraordinary!! The guides were very friendly and I really enjoyed the conversation. I also asked the locals if they could ride because the donkey was walking, and they asked me and I was amazed! And on the way back, it was a huge help to be given a lift to Samarkand station. Anyway, I would recommend it!

5.00We went to the 7 lakes with a toddler. All 6 lakes are accessible by car but the roads are unpaved and is bumpy. The views are amazing Especially on lake no 6. Booking was smooth, no waiting time for taxi and the driver shares his wifi.

5.00The best experience! Our driver Sino, and our guide Dodo is the best! Went here without any expectation but was blown away in every way possible. Dodo is such a gem, he really educates us with the history of Panjakent and educates us with the background of each lake. Truly a remarkable experience! Will definitely recommend this to my friends! Bonus is that I met great friends as well, and good good food from a local restaurant!

5.001-day trip with welcoming Murad who was a nice guy, giving us lots of insights and stories. The more we went forward, the nicer the lakes were. Excellent choice of tajiki food if you choose the meal option. Be prepared to be a bit flexible with the street conditions, the unpaved road is bumpy but it didn't bother me much in the end. Recommended!

5.00This is a fantastic trip! Our guide Murod was fun, knowledgeable, and good natured. The roads in the mountains are quite rough and bumpy, but our driver was skilled and safe. We could not make it to the 7th lake at the top because the road was too dangerous, so I will have to return in the summer when I can go for a swim. The lunch was great-I recommend the fish.
