You will be taken to the Japan's most beautiful places, guided by a local English-speaking professional photographer. During the tour I will capture your magical moments, leaving you free to take in the sights without worrying about the best angles and light, or asking a stranger to take your picture! I am experienced in portrait and travel street photography, and my work has been published in many magazines, guidebooks including Lonely Planet and the city guides of tourism boards. A day out with me ensure you will have a knowledgeable, funny, local professional photographer, and Insta-worthy travel photos will be guaranteed!

What To Expect
Takayama Jinya
Takayama Jinya was where 25 generations of provincial governor/magistrate performed their official duties relating to administration, policing and justice to rule Hida under the Shogunate over 176 years from 1692 (when Hida Province was put under the direct rule of the Edo Shogunate) to 1868.
Takayama
Takayama's old town has been beautifully preserved with many buildings and whole streets of houses dating from the Edo Period (1600-1868) especially the Sannomachi Street, survives in a particularly pretty state with many old homes, shops, coffee houses and sake breweries, some of which have been in business for centuries.

5.00We had an incredible day with Takatoshi-san, who was both an excellent tour guide and a skilled photographer, making the trip seamless and memorable. We went to Shirakawago in the morning, had lunch at a very nice Ramen shop in Takayama (Takatoshi-san's recommendation) and spent the afternoon wandering around the Old town of Takayama. Takatoshi-san really knew all the best photo spots and he took stunning pictures for us. Friendly, helpful, and professional, he truly went above and beyond to make our day special. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00We had a great day exploring these beautiful places with TK whilst creating some gorgeous family photos. TK made the whole experience easy from booking to receiving the images very promptly. He was perfectly on time and kept the day running smoothly. We all enjoyed his company and he is considerate of the group’s needs. 5.00TK was patient and punctual. His English was excellent, and so too the photos he took. The days seemed so smooth and effortless: the pick up, drive there, casual and unhurried tour and photo shoot, free time and then lunch. Takayama and Shirakawago are beautiful spots to visit.

5.00TK was our.tour guide and photographer formour day trip to Takayama and Shirakawago. His knowledge was great and we learnt a lot about each of the areas we visited. We are also usually very fussy about our photographs, but when we received the photos he took we loved them all. They were great. We would highly recommend him for both a tour and as a photographer.

5.00TK was a great driver/guide for our day trip to Shirakawa and takyama, taking us to the best places to maximise our experience at both locations. He also knew the best places to go for him to take professional photos for our memories. His vehicle was very comfortable for the trip thru the mountains and some 27 tunnels! Would definitely recommend him.
