No show so we cancelled. Tried to connect via the app and no response. Waited 20 minutes, then canceled our booking.

We waited at the tourist information center meet location for our 11:30am tour but nobody showed up. We waited in the rain until ~11:40am then contacted the tour provider by phone. That’s when we learned the tour was not happening. When we told the person on the phone it would have been nice to get an email notifying us the tour was cancelled (we received no email) the response was a dismissive “yeah yeah”. I can only rate our experience with this provider which is limited to what I describe above. Good luck and meter your expectations on tour guide actually showing up OR getting courtesy email of cancellation should that occur.

The guide never showed up for the tour. There was no tour. Possible scam. Waited with another couple to no avail

The tour guide didn’t turn up and was not contactable. The Tourist Office said this had happened the day before and several times in the previous week. Poor response from Trip Advisor who knew about this issue but were still offering the trip and have offered no compensation for the disruption to our holiday. We missed out on other tours to do this one and were left with no other options on the day.

This was a very good introduction to Estonian food and culture. The tour lasted a full 3 hours, and we visited 6 different venues. The tastings and drinks were good and we learned a lot from our guide Paul during the stops. We did not leave hungry.

Our guide was excellent: warm, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Tallinn and Estonia. The tour connects food with local history, culture and parts of the city; that side of the experience was genuinely enjoyable. That said, as a food tour, I felt it could be better structured. Starting with chocolate was interesting, but I think the first stop would work better as something savoury. One of our group had made clear from the outset, she does not eat meat, yet at possibly the best food stop, her alternative to the excellent broth was "beer"; not really a substitute for food on a food tour. My main reservation is the price. We paid around €400 for four people, and although the guide was very good, the amount and balance of food did not feel proportionate to that cost. Personally, I would value the experience below €300 for four. So overall: a good host, interesting cultural insight and some enjoyable stops, but the food offering, dietary handling and pricing need a little refinement.

We've been to Tallinn a few times, but the food tour with Paul was by far our most interesting experience. It was far more than food. His insightful stories and history combined with delicious Estonian food, drink and dessert made for a perfect day. Highly recommend this tour.

This tour was extraordinary. It’s incredible how much history and food culture we learned in 3 hours. I’ve been on several food tours recently and this one stood out for how much cultural and food information was embedded in it. But we were eating and talking the whole time, so it never felt overly serious or lecture like. The food was tasty and there was a good mix for all types of eaters. The walking was mostly flat and spread out into multiple short walks. Highly recommend!

Paul was fantastic. He has so much knowledge about the history of Estonia, and how it ties into the food we tried. The tour was more than just Old Town Tallinn which I loved. We tried unique food and drinks, and the 3 hours flew by. Thank you Paul - we had a blast!
