Tanah Lot Temple
Tanah Lot is one of the important directional temples in Bali. The temple is located on a rock just offshore. It is said to be the work of revered 15th century Hindu priest Nirartha and forms an important element of Balinese spiritualism and mythology.
Pura Batu Bolong
The rock underneath the temple has a natural hole, hence the name (batu bolong literally means 'rock with hole').

5.00Putu Carmawan, tour organiser, showed us cultural sights in Balii and he was excellent, both in his range of knowledge about less visited areas as well as when and how to go in order to minimise traffic. Putu organised cooking classes for us, which were great value and a lot of fun, plus tours north and to Ubud. The car was great, Putu and his team, Adi and Komen speak excellent English and they will devote as much time as their customers need, without extra charges.

5.00I had a fantastic time exploring Tanah Lot Temple with Gede Rio as my driver and guide. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about Bali’s culture and history. The car was clean, air-conditioned, and very comfortable, which made the journey even more enjoyable. Gede Rio was also very flexible — he let me take my time at every stop and even suggested a few hidden gems along the way. Watching the sunset at Tanah Lot was magical, and I’m so glad I had someone as reliable and kind as Rio to make the experience smooth and memorable.
