5.00As someone who made almost 30 flights on his own more than 35 years ago, I was initially cautious about whether a tandem flight would be appealing. I was fortunate enough that Lorenz Peer personally made me an individual flight offer that included both a small distance flight and a significant altitude rise due to the good thermals. We then flew well into the thermal updrafts due to his very large experience and made decent heights. Not only did his vast experience come into play here, but also in points such as safety, routine, friendliness and explanations about the flight. In conclusion, I can only say a special experience, which is due to the high competence of Lorenz Peer with top marks. Absolutely recommend!

5.00First off, I am not an adrenaline junky in any way. I stand next to the side of a railing in a mall and l get a little light headed... here's my take on paragliding with Lorenz at Fly Stubai for whom 5 stars are certainly not enough. (1) Leading up to the flight, I was nervous. I found the the gondola ride unnerving as we ascended higher and higher, knowing I was going to paraglide down. (2) The thing i did NOT expect was that as soon as the paraglider wing takes over aned you are set in the harness, the fear fades away. It feels natural, like how a bird might feel and my attention was 100% on the snow capped mountains and incredible detail of seeing the trees and rock faces from such a beautiful perspective. (3) Lorenz is one of the most experienced paragliders in the world and honestly, is underpaid for how good he is. I simply had no question that he had the experience and judgement to ensure 100% safety. I initially requested as smooth a ride as possible, but by the end I was cheering for some mild acrobatics to finish off the 20 minute flight. So, going from almost cancelling the event the night before because the thought of running off the side of a high mountain just seemed too anxiogenic, to putting my full faith in Lorenz and having a thrilling and thoroughly enjoyable paragliding trip, it was a positive surprise throughout. 5.00My husband and I booked paragliding with Fly-Stubai -- my husband because he has no fear and couldn't wait to experience it, and me because I really wanted to do it even though I have a terrible fear of heights. Honestly I didn't know if I'd be able to go through with it, but once we got to the meeting point and understood how it worked and saw the amazing beauty of the Alps surrounding the beautiful valley, my fear was better. Lorenz, the owner, has many years of experience and made sure I felt comfortable. He was my "pilot" and my husband had his partner (sorry, I forgot his name). The entire experience, from beginning to end, FAR exceeded both of our expectations! It's an amazing thing to do and absolutely no problem if you have a fear of heights. While you're flying, there is nothing but peace, and joy and amazement at the gorgeous views and realizing that you are flying like a carefree bird and taking it all in. If you have any doubts - STOP! Just do it, and do it with Lorenz and Fly-Stubai. I can't imagine anyone else being better.
No problem even with a wheelchair!
