Cap Spartel
Cap Spartel is a promontory in Morocco about 1,000 feet (300 m) above sea level at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, 12 km west of Tangier. It is the northwesternmost point of the African continent. Below the cape are the Caves of Hercules. Enjoy spectacular views over the Meeting point of Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.

5.00We had a great tour. We visited so many interesting points during our journey. Great vistas to stop for pictures in Perdicaris Park, the Cape Spartel lighthouse where the Atlantic meets the Med, a nice drive along the coast, a visit to Hercules Cave (who knew?!), the cool camel ride along Mikki Beach, a tour of the Kasbah and it's many shops, a visit to with a rug maker and a cool spice store. A great way to spend 4+ hours in Tangier.
