Duration: 12 hours: Enjoy this full day tour with a local guide and explore the Island of Tanna, the day tour runs from approx 8am - 8:30pm.

5.00We were very well looked after by William our tour guide and Tom the driver. First taken to the cannibal tribe (best to do your research about what to expect if you frighten easy). The tribe put on a wonderful performance and gave us education about their customs. Then taken to Shark Bay to view the sharks swimming. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant by the beach (meal included in the tour price). The first hot springs were underwater due to high tide but we visited a second hot spring and swam in the warm river that connected to the ocean. One of the local women took me and my son to see a waterfall past the hot springs. We ended the day on top of Mt Yasur and experienced the loud bangs of the volcanic eruptions and saw some lava rocks burst up through the smoke. Quite windy and cold at the top but William made sure to let us know it would be like that so we were prepared with jumpers. So grateful for the experience William and his team had given us. We will be back again!
