What To Expect

You will experience local shopping in the Swahili street. Swahili meal cooking experience in an Open kitchen . Then an Outdoor dining after the meal Cooking experience. Enjoy a Swahili Cuisine Meal. After the meal break, you will experience Traditional Drumming and Dancing Workshop. You can camp under the moon or stay in one of our En-suite accommodation with free wireless internet around the center. For those that will book accommodation or camp under the moon will have free wireless internet, bon fire, evening meal, cow milking, a walk or jogging experience to the Nearby Indian ocean.

Outstanding swahili cultural experience! I see the experience in 3 phases. First is the shopping. This took place at the fish market and at vendors across the straight. Next was the food prep and cooking. We partook in that and it was fun. Great meal! Lastly was the after meal entertainment. Great music and dancing. In the Dar area, this was the best tour we had. Would definitely recommend the the folks at Shine Africa are solid people. The best!
