A sense of history is almost everywhere inside the walled city of Avignon. Our guide Zahra, locally born and bred, brought zest to the narrow streets, churches, squares and all the architecture surrounding us. We made 4 tasting stops that included a market, restaurants, and plenty of food. We were not disappointed. In-between she pointed out the many marvels and famous spots of Avignon. Consider yourself lucky if Zahra is your guide!

Our guide Nastassja was amazing: passionate, smiling and full of energy. She introduced us to local specialties while sharing beautiful stories about the city. You can feel that she loves what she does, and it makes the tasting even more enjoyable. Many thanks to her for this moment of sharing.❤️

Michelle was a fabulous guide. She communicated fluently. She curated a fascinating culinary tour. She also allowed us to message her later to seek advice and guidance.

Honestly, not very happy with TripAdvisor, but Anastasia is one of the best tour guides we have ever had! She was sweet empathetic gave more information where she was able and adjusted the tour on the fly! Cannot say enough great things about her! TripAdvisor is lucky to have her

We enjoyed so many aspects of this tour. It was great to gain some historical knowledge not only about Avignon, but also the food of the region. Zahra's quick wit and ability to keep us engaged during our walk around the city and while eating made this experience very enjoyable.

If you are headed to Avignon to see and hear what’s not in the guidebooks while enjoying great food and wine , sign Zara up. Zara was prompt, professional and what a great sense of humor! My wife and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Zara’s choices were so good, we should have returned with her for seconds!

Zahra is a wonderful guide; to the history of Avignon, to the hidden spaces you will miss without her nudge, and to the wonderful food this city has to offer. Mediterranean influences are present but it has all the delicacy of French food that you are after. The tastes range from sweet to savoury and back again. We did the food tour just hours after arriving in Avignon and it worked out very well. It gave us a quick footprint of the town within the wall, great restaurant recommendations and we explored some wonderful shops that we will return to before we leave. Zahara will also make restaurant reservations for you if spots are available. She is funny, connected and passionate about Avignon. My husband and I do recommend this tour
