With a local guide leading the way, guests can explore comfortably and confidently.
The tour begins with pickup from the Puerto Plata cruise port and a scenic drive to Sosúa, with local insight shared along the way and a welcome drink provided (local beer or water). Upon arrival, you’ll drive through the downtown area along Pedro Clisante and stop at the Playa Alicia waterfront lookout for photos. Depending on the group, you’ll relax at a local restaurant with drinks included, visit the Hard Rock Café Sosúa, & enjoy time at Sosúa Beach to walk, swim, or browse local vendors. Then back to the port.

What To Expect
Playa Alicia
Travelers will visit Playa Alicia, a scenic and relaxed beach area known for its open shoreline and beautiful views. Guests will stop at the waterfront lookout for photos overlooking the bay and enjoy a short guided walk along the beach. Depending on the group, you’ll relax at a local restaurant with drinks included (domestic beer or water).
Guests will stop at the Hard Rock Cafe Puerto Plata souvenir shop, where they can browse branded merchandise, purchase souvenirs, and take photos before continuing the tour.

The guide was personable and informative, and the tour moved at a comfortable pace with plenty of time to enjoy each location. It was a relaxing and authentic way to see the area outside the resort. Definitely worth booking.
