This is a fun mix of the history of St. Croix along with the food of St. Croix. Q (Anquinette) was a fantastic guide for our tour. Highly recommend taking the tour.

Took our tour with Mara today. We tasted a great variety of local food during our time together. . We even went back to 2 of the places after the tour for more samples (Mutiny Vodka) and personal purchases (Gary’s Bakery). Mara kept things interesting with stops at historical places and her knowledge of St. Croix’s history. A fun addition to my birthday trip!

Our guide LD gave a great tour revealing much of the history of the island and sharing it’s food history as well. All of the food stops were delicious and there was more food than we could eat!

We choose food tours to experience local cuisine, discover spots tourists might overlook, and learn about the culture. This tour checked all of those boxes. It was great having David as a guide because he grew up on St. Croix and has a love and knowledge of the Island in addition to research he’s done overseas. Each stop was unique. We would revisit some of them.

This was an excellent experience. The range of foods was wide, encompassing many aspects of local cuisine and the ethnic contributors to it. Not surprising, no Danish offerings! There was an interesting review of historical events at each stop on the approximately 4-hour tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and no question went unanswered. Pricey but well worth it. Highly recommended.

Had a nice, easy walk and heard about the history of St. Croix. There were several stops at food shops to eat local specialties. We only had 6 people in our group, which was great.
