Excellant wine tour guide who was friendly and had knowledge of the island and its history. Wines were good but the highlight was the lunch at one of the wineries and the olive oil tasting. If you’re planning to be on the outside of the ferry on the ferry of the island, be sure to take a jacket and hold on to your hat.

It's just a little bit confusing determining which company we should be looking for (look at the PDF of your ticket). I had thankfully looked at previous reviews and knew where to ask questions. The lunch was delicious and the wineries were great. I met a couple ladies and we stayed at the last winery for more fun. Took one of the later boats back. Highly recommend.

Start at Auckland ferry dock headed to Waiheke Island; this was a little confusing on exactly where to catch the ferry, ask port workers. Enjoyed our ferry ride to the island where we met our tour guide. She took us to an olive oil farm tour, sumptuous lunch at one winery and then a tour at a second winery. And then a ferry ride back to Auckland. It was an enjoyable tour with wonderful scenery.

Finding the meeting point was not the easiest on a busy ferry terminal area, but once we did we enjoyed the day. Beautiful beaches, town views and wine tastings plus olive oil!

They never showed up. Waited and waited. Very confusing where to meet. The security guard says this happens all the time. That they just don’t show up.

Having read about difficulties with the meeting point got to the harbour early / asked for the pier number and was directed to the Q . Met by our bus driver ( Victor) on Waiheke Island . The tour was fantastic , great food for lunch , lovely wine at the vineyards . Each stop was the right duration - Victor was fantastic , his humour , knowledge and friendliness really made the day so enjoyable . Throughly recommend.

We originally booked this tour as an easy way to visit some wineries on a daytrip from Auckland. However, it was WAY more than that. From the moment we were greeted off the ferry to the farewell, it was a great day out. Our guide Simon took us to see more of the island than just the wineries. As a local, it was great to get his pets of life on Waiheke. We would absolutely love to go back.

We loved our bus driver. However, I think I was sold a different tour. The group was mostly made up of people from a cruise ship. Nothing against cruise ships, but it made our group very large. Not my idea of a private tour. The time allocated for the venues seemed ill planned. We spent way too much time at the olive oil tasting venue, Alpresso. ( by the way, the description says it is Olive tasting, buyer beware. We were so looking forward to olive tasting, which is very big in this area. Sadly there were no olives) During our last wine tasting, we basically had to sip and slug so that the cruise people could get back in time. Lunch was delicious, but I would hardly say that one glass of wine constituted, a wine tasting. Although the beach was beautiful, and the little tour through town was nice, in the interest of time management it could have been skipped or shortened.

Well done and beautiful vineyards. Tour includes a delicious lunch at one of the stops. Loved climbing up the hill at Mudbrick to see the views and the beautiful horses.

Wonderful tour & great tour guide (Kai)! Make sure you get a clarification on where you are to meet the group going on the ferry. We had a 10:15 meet-up & were there at 9:30. Never did find the group, but Fuller 360 (ferry) helped us. We sent messages that weren’t answered to find out where to meet. We did finally find the group on Waiheke Island & had a great time.
