5.00We were led this morning by Richard, a local here in Perugia of Via del Vino food tours, and had a fun, informative, and most importantly DELICIOUS introduction to his exquisite town of Perugia. The stunning surroundings made for an unforgettable experience sampling local Umbrian breakfast foods, charcuterie, olive oils, pasta, chocolate and local beer and wine. Between each stop, we learned about the history of the town, its buildings and the area of Umbria in an interesting and relaxed manner. And Richard and his colleagues will modify the route to accommodate any special needs of their group. We highly recommend this tour to ANYONE visiting Perugia: it is a MUST DO item to add to any itinerary. They’re not joking when they tell you to come hungry!

5.00Pietrina was fabulous! There were 4 if us -- high school friends from the 1970's -- I really don't think she could have been more fun. She had great knowledge of the local food scene, was passionate about what she was doing, and was well versed in the history of Perugia. Two big thumbs up from all of us.
