A beautiful day in the Mt. Maunganuin, Bay of Plenty countryside. We headed inland into the Kaimai Range for a bush walk past native trees and waterfalls at McLaren Falls Park, visited historic sites as the Gate Pa Memorial Reserve, had spectacular views from Minden Lookout and the Bay of Plenty. We visited a kiwi orchard, tasted fresh kiwifruit, manuka honey, and hokey pokey-flavored ice cream. Great tour and tour guide.

A nice day out and off the ship. Good communication, extremely easy to find at the pier. Lots of food goodies along the way and some very nice sights. A good value. When the tour is over spend some time in the ships right there on the waterfront.

We saw many wonderful and interesting sights. We given very tasty kiwi fruit and different kinds of honey. We took a wonderful walk to a waterfall and saw an organic kiwi farm. This is an interesting, fun and worthwhile experience!

Mike was an excellent driver/guide, and looked after us (locals) and our friend's from Washington DC, extremely well. We all thoroughly enjoyed the trip around, cuppa & muffin at Decor Cafe, McLaren Falls with kiwifruit & honey tasting, and topped off with Hokey Pokey ice-cream on way home! Thankyou for lovely outing.

The trip was informative and we were introduced to information on NZ we might have not heard through normal channels. Highlights were the tea and scones/muffins and the kiwi/honey tasting. The ice cream was a perfect ending. One negative was that the bus was completely full, not an empty seat anywhere, consequently my wife and I were separated and she was in the back row, in the middle and had strangers on both sides with little comfort. 4 across the back was too crowded.
