Your experience begins with a guided tea plantation tour, where you’ll walk among lush tea bushes, learn how Ceylon tea is grown and harvested, and enjoy a freshly brewed cup made from hand-picked leaves. You’ll then continue with a Kandyan village and organic garden walk, exploring tropical fruits, vegetables, spices, and medicinal plants. You’ll touch, smell, and taste fresh ingredients directly from the ground while learning about traditional village life and sustainable farming practices. During the village visit, you’ll also spend time at a small-scale village farm, where you can interact with friendly goats, guinea fowls, and free-range chickens. You’re welcome to cuddle the animals, observe daily farm activities, and learn how villagers raise animals naturally and ethically. Next, you’ll take part in a hands-on Sri Lankan cooking class, using firewood, clay pots, and garden-fresh produce. You’ll learn authentic Kandyan recipes and cooking techniques passed down through generations.
