What To Expect

Richmond-upon-Thames

Your Guide will walk you from Richmond Station to see many Ted Lasso filming locations and local historical sites. Starting at Richmond Green, you will wind your way down to the Thames River bank, then uphill to end the tour at a traditional pub with fantastic views. There will be plenty of time for photos, to visit the official store & even grab an Empanada!

Our family of four loved the Lasso tour! Our guide was knowledgeable with fun facts and filming locations. He gave us time for family photos at the various locations and even treated us to some of Ted’s famous biscuits at the end of the tour. It was an enjoyable experience!

Booking a walking tour with Sean is an absolute must-do in London. Sean took us on an unforgettable journey through the charming streets of Richmond-upon-Thames, hitting every iconic filming spot from the show with infectious energy and spot-on enthusiasm. What really set Sean apart was how fun he made everything. He channeled that pure Lasso positivity—curious, kind, and cracking jokes that kept the whole group smiling—even in the freezing cold! And yes, he absolutely can split the G like a pro (we witnessed it over a well-earned Guinness at the end, and it was epic). He was off duty of course!

Sean delivered an absolutely brilliant tour of the Ted Lasso filming locations in and around Richmond—truly a “believe” kind of experience. From the moment we started, it was clear that Sean knows this area (and the show) inside and out. He seamlessly blended behind-the-scenes Ted Lasso trivia with fascinating local history, making every stop feel meaningful rather than just a photo op. We visited the iconic pub that inspired so much of the series, along with dozens of other filming locations, and Sean thoughtfully explained the significance of each one—often pointing out details we never would have noticed on our own. He was kind, patient, and genuinely a pleasure to spend time with, happily taking fantastic photos of us at every stop so we could stay in the moment. There is a fair amount of walking involved, so very elderly guests may want to keep that in mind, but for most people it’s a gorgeous, fun, and engaging stroll through one of London’s most charming neighborhoods. Sean’s enthusiasm, warmth, and knowledge perfectly captured the spirit of the show—optimistic, thoughtful, and full of heart. As Ted himself would say, “Be curious, not judgmental”—and you’ll quickly discover that booking this tour is a very smart decision. Highly, highly recommended.

Can’t say enough good things about this tour!!!! Sean was amazing and very knowledgeable and just as excited about the series as we were and loved that he had screenshots to share of each location so that we could be refreshed about what was going on in the series compared to where we were. Richmond is an absolutely beautiful town and loved every minute we were there. He gave us time to check out the Ted Lasso shop which was really cool to see and shop in. We ended the tour with the choice of where we wanted to visit for our last stop which we chose the pub that they used for exterior shots. We loved this tour so much that we want to go home and watch the series again for the 5th time 🤩

Our walking tour was excellent. Shaun, our guide, was able to cover the Ted Lasso sites as well as weave in a lot of history about Richmond. We enjoyed lunch at the Crown and Anchored
