Our Night Sky Star Safari is more than a stargazing tour — it’s a full sensory experience! Enjoy a light Canarian meal en route, a sunset above the Sea of Clouds with cava, and expert-guided stargazing using high-powered telescopes and lasers. Explore planets, stars, galaxies, and constellations while learning the science and mythology behind them. We provide photos and a sunset time-lapse free. With South Tenerife pick-up, stunning locations, and a friendly, knowledgeable team, we make it fun, effortless, and full of WOW moments — an unforgettable night under the stars!

What To Expect
Los Cristianos
Our Pick Ups are from the South Zone only. We have a few stops at hotels picking up and then Drive straight to our first stop, the restaurant!
Chio
We stop after pick-ups and a short drive at one of the local Canarian restaurants. Here you’ll enjoy a light meal with drinks and have the chance to chat with the other travellers on the trip. It’s a great way to meet new people who share your interest in stargazing. The menu includes: Half BBQ chicken, pork steak, or a vegetarian/vegan option Served with Canarian potatoes, yellow rice, and mojo sauces Dessert: cake Your first drink and water are included Wine and soft drinks are also available on the table Dietary needs: Vegetarian and vegan options are available every day, and we can also cater for coeliacs. Canarian food is simple but delicious — a great introduction to the traditional Canarian diet!

5.00From the moment of booking and querying pick up and gluten free meal Kieran was so helpful. The pick-up was on time with a comfy coach ride up to the restaurant. Our guide was lovely telling us about the island and the park. Food was basic but very nice and accommodate me perfectly. Next the sunset which was absolutely amazing to see and bf part of. We went in December but unfortunately when we got up to the stargazing part the clouds came in and unfortunately the tour had to be cancelled, which they were all devastated about. But the team displayed fantastic customer service sorting out another time for the tour again. We are taking ours again when we next come to Tenerife and honestly we cannot wait. Thanks again team.

5.00We had a lot of fun with Night Skies Tenerife. The whole tour was professionally organised but very personal at the same time—everything ran smoothly and the communication before and during the trip was timely and helpful. The guides know their stuff and how to explain it in an informative and entertaining way, with plenty of humour and enthusiasm. You could see they enjoy what they do. Everyone got time at the telescopes, questions were welcome, and nothing felt rushed. Warm jackets were provided, which was thoughtful and necessary—but at that altitude, it's still worth putting on most of your emergency warm clothing as well. All in all, a really well-run, friendly and memorable outing. I'd happily go again in a different season to see other constellations and a different night sky. Thanks for a great evening.

5.00What a brilliant experience. Our tour guide was Sonja. She was very friendly and helpful. After picking everyone up we were taken to a restaurant and fed chicken, rice and potatoes. Then taken to a venue to watch a beautiful sunset before being taken up Mt Teide for Star Gazing which was amazing. Keiron knew his stuff and was funny with his presentation. To see the stars through the very expensive telescopes was an experience in itself as well as viewing another galaxy. Have already recommended this excursion to a family member who is holidaying in Tenerife next year

5.00Have a lovely experience. The team were great. Got picked up at my hotel in los gigantes by john (sound man) at 1605. 40 mins later i was having chicken rice and potatoes meal with glass of wine. We traveled a further 20min up the mountain to watch sunset(quite stunning) We then then traveled further up for another 25min to stargazing set. 4 x telescopes to share with about 30 ppl. Chris was outstanding with his knowledge. The views were perfect. I was back in my hotel for 2145 Would I recommend the experience… absolutely yes Thanks again to chris, mark sonia snd especially John

5.00Had a great sunset and stargazing tour with Kieron and his staff. All very knowledgeable and very helpful. We chose the meal option and the food was quite decent especially compared to the La Gomera tour we did the previous day.

5.00Second time on Night Skies tour. First time was in 2021. As second timers, the tour doesn’t get boring at all. Kieran is so informative and very very knowledgeable. The tour is in English, Spanish and German. All the guides were friendly, especially Sonja. Very informative about Bananas 😉 Thank you all again for a great tour.

5.00Great experience, the food wasn't necessarily a blast now, but we didn't book the trip for that either. Otherwise it was a nice experience and the German moderation was very informative and you can tell the team that they do it with enthusiasm. You can see something like the Andromeda Galaxy or Saturn through the telescopes that have been set up. This is something very special to observe something like this through an eyepiece. The telescopes are high quality and you can see the objects in incredible detail. We were very lucky with the weather and could see the starry sky with details that you never get to see near the big and small cities. Seeing the Milky Way again is impressive. All in all, this was great fun and you can recommend this tour without restriction.

4.00We had a great evening watching the sunset above the clouds and star gazing. Both were amazing and we definitely experienced the “wow” factor. Kieran and his team were great fun and he has a brain the size of a planet with all his facts and knowledge! We were well looked after throughout the evening (warm padded jackets provided as it gets so cold!), Cava at the sunset and hot chocolate during the star gazing). The only downside for me was the amount of time spent on the coach. The coach was a 50 seater (we were expecting 30 max) and there were far too many picks ups. We were in Los Cristianos and the journey back took 1 hour 45 mins which was awful. A great trip though and a “must do” while in Tenerife.

5.00It’s AMAZING!!! Craig was the best, so full of knowledge. Everyone was! It’s always great when you get. Tour and leave with way more information about the area/experience/thing that you thought you would get. Really awesome!!! Yes it’s cold when you are 2100km up a volcano, and are PAST the clouds, dress like it!! If you want a chance at seeing your zodiac, you have to be there 8-10weeks before your birthday. The food was DELICIOUS, I cleaned the plate and really wanted to go back for more (I got the pork) or a to-go plate!!! The English was perfect, with other guides for Spanish or German. I 100% recommend this. Depending on how long you plan to be in Tenerife I would do this tour multiple times, it’s going to be a different night sky each time (and you get an included ride to that fantastic restaurant lol). Loved it!!!!!
