It was a good and at times hard hike with temple, and mountain fortress gate visits and then at the end lunch and the cable car down. For the first hour or so the guide did not talk to us but walked ahead almost out of sight waiting for us to catch up. There were only the two of us (my wife and I, and the guide) and I thought of dismissing the guide and continuing without him. But then after an hour upon arriving at the Buddhist temple he perked up and told us about the temple and then for the rest of the hike engaged and answered questions.

You have to arrive at the templeais, once in this place it is calm and serenity that dominates. Everything seems authentic.

An interesting and engaging experience. We had a challenging hike with the most enthusiastic and helpful guide we have ever met. We learned so much. We picked mountain berries to eat and we drank pure mountain water. AND our guide brought plenty of store-bought snacks and water. Cable car ride provided some amazing views. The hike was vigorous, but breaks were well planned with yummy Korean snacks. Our guide's English is very good. He gave us so much excellent advice about other activities in Korea. We ended up booking another tour with him and he referred us to some services for tourists that we had not known were available. We recommend going on a weekday as we did. We understand the trails are much more crowded on the weekends.

Busan Oppa was great! We had done the 4 hr hike up to the temple and it was awesome. Now for an American the hike can be challenging, you are walking up steep trails and rocks, but if you can push through the cable car back down THE VIEWS ARE BREATHTAKING AND WORTH IT!! Busan Oppa was kind and a great motivator! We had Korean pancakes and mikolee (a beverage) at a nice restaurant at the top next to the cable car area. This hike was DEFINITELY worth the time and money I enjoyed myself and would do it again! It is a workout just understand that and go into it knowing that and you’ll be fine! You can do it! It is worth it I promise!! Busan Oppa is a great guide, super helpful and knowledgeable, he even helped us after our hike was done to make sure we got to where we needed! I loved that about him! Book this hike you won’t regret it!

This was such an unexpected great experience. We started off with what I think is a moderately challenging hike, steep incline with rocks. Local Koreans would say it is easy. The Seokbulsa Temple was awe inspiring. Busan Oppa was well prepared and gave great background on the temple, the area and Korea in general. Also great food recommendations! We finished off the hike with food and drinks and a truly 'wow' view of Busan. I highly recommend this tour and Busan Oppa!
