What To Expect
Mexico City
For approximately 40 minutes, we will visit the different meeting points in the city to pick up travelers. Once the group is complete, we will begin the journey to the archaeological site of Teotihuacan. The drive from Mexico City to Teotihuacan takes approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic.
Zona Arqueologica De Teotihuacan
We will arrive early to avoid crowds. We will enjoy a guided tour of the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Avenue of the Dead, with explanations about their history and significance, with no tourist traps. There will be time for photos. Duration: Approximately 3 hours.

5.00This was a great tour. Ruben was extremely knowledgeable and kept the tour moving at a good pace. He was able to answer most all questions presented and was very personable. There was also independent time for exploration if you wanted to go that route instead. The pickup and drop-off went very smooth and we appreciated the fact that there were no filler or tourist trap stops involved. It was a great half day tour that checked all of our boxes for this experience.

5.00I booked this tour through Viator after exploring a few different options. Someone I spoke to did a tour with a different company and had a poor experience, with it being long, poorly explained, and filled with many stops to tourist traps. However, this tour with Experiencias Mexicanas was quite the opposite. The bus they took us on was quite spacious and nice. They were very punctual, being the first company to pick up from their group from the location I chose. And all the staff, Marifer, Reuben, and Omar were wonderful. Reuben was our English speaking tour guide and he was knowledgeable and passionate about Teotihuacan. It was great having a guide who really cared for the subject. And no tourist trap stops, but plenty of time at the archaelogical site (about 3 hours). There are some areas I would have loved if we had maybe 30+ more minutes to explore total at the site. And I was very curious about the museum and wish we had the chance visit it. But these are minor things. I'd highly recommend booking your tour with this company!

The trip was incredibly informative, but seeing the pyramids and how extensive and sophisticated this ancient city was, is really beyond belief. We would recommend this tour to anybody who wants to experience, culture, history, and the beauty of an ancient civilization.

5.00Great tour and no commercial stops as promised! 100% culture. We had a dedicated guide for 3 hours just for us (10 Spanish speakers). Very informative and gave us plenty of time to explore.
