We had a great experience visiting the Terracotta Army thanks to Li’s advice. Going at 8am was perfect—no big crowds and we could enjoy everything at a relaxed pace. Li provided very detailed information on how to get there, where to go, and everything included (like the free shuttle bus), which made the whole visit incredibly smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

From the day I booked this tour until We were dropped off at our hotel afterwards, Cathy was always in touch with me. She made sure everything was taken care of from a small breakfast on the way to the train to sending pictures of exactly were to to go and where to meet guide. Our Guide Maryam was simply fantastic, she gave us so much information and took her time to make sure we saw everything. If only all guides were as good as Maryam. Even our driver was very friendly and courteous to us. Iff you are thinking about doing the Terracotta Warriors book here. Jerry T U.S.A

Xian the warriors. Queues and sardines! Not for the claustrophobic…. We arrived early, 10.30, as it is an hour outside Xian, and apparently it was relatively quiet….we still queued for 25 mins to get thru the main gates, security x ray, and passport, as usual. Another short queue for shuttle to the main access area. Queue again… First pavillion is huge…stairs up to it, but the front rail is ten deep with packed bodies…as is most of the way round…if, like me, your are 1.80+ tall…you can look over the heads…just!…as you move round it gets (slightly!) less congested, and the view is fascinating…but you will have difficulty getting to the front rail…and the guide said it was quiet that day! Amazing display…the far end is also interesting…..impressive works still continue. Up steps to exit, turn right to pavillion 2…up steps into smaller, (still crowned but marginally better) , to the ‘officers mess’…again, interesting ongoing works, partially exposed. Far end has excellent soldiers and a general in Perspex cases, so you can get closer…maybe!….exit down steps to pavillion 3…museum style exposition, lots of interesting stuff, one ‘perfect undamaged soldier!. In Perspex… brass chariot weapons 2500 year old drains/water pipes…. Out to exit area, queue, out to commercial exit area, for about 1 km , level, to any pick up area, cafes, restaurants etc. Note… we went in April, ( it was raining) and temperatures were nippy but ok…I saw that in open queuing areas there were sunshades and fans…the guide said when busy in summer it was a nightmare…be warned.
