Arusha National Park Day Tour
The Arusha National Park, is a small national park with 137 sq km but a very beautiful African park. It is the closest Tanzanian National Park to the famous “safari city” of Arusha (32 km), as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport, thus make it ideal for day safaris, even from Moshi (65 km). there is a lot of wildlife in the Arusha National Park, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied game reserves in Tanzania. Beautiful Momela Lakes and sometimes a lot of Flamingoes, and beautiful views of the Park with green Forest through out the year, with luck we may see the rare Colobus Monkey. You will also enjoy a beautiful 2hrs walking Safari with a national Park Ranger.

What To Expect
Arusha National Park
Below are the attraction which we do expect to see including a lovely walking with armed National Park Ranger. - Lovely Maasai Giraffes during game drive and by luck also during walking - If we are Lucky enough we will see the rare Black and White Colobus Monkey real beautiful - Difference type of Antelopes - Momella lakes and Flamingoes depends with the time of the year (flamingoes) - 2hours walk with the ranger within the Park - Lovely Forest and Beautiful Views _ Depends with time but we will also try and see the Arc Tree(wild fig) - Zebras, Warthogs, Buffaloes, Birds, with Luck Elephants etc - If the weather is clear we will also see MOUNT MERU because the park is just behind the Mountain - Those are just few but we do have a lot to see

5.00If you're looking for a truly authentic, close-to-nature safari experience in Arusha, look no further than a walking safari with Godson! From the moment we met him, it was clear we were in incredibly knowledgeable and passionate hands. Godson has an exceptional eye for wildlife and a deep understanding of the local ecosystem. Within minutes of our walk, he was pointing out animal tracks, medicinal plants, and birds I never would have noticed on my own. His calm, respectful approach to nature made the entire experience feel safe, insightful, and deeply immersive. What I appreciated most was how Godson took time to explain the cultural and environmental importance of the areas we explored. It felt less like a tour and more like a journey guided by someone who truly loves and respects the land. The pace was perfect—not rushed at all—and we were able to see giraffes, zebras, and even a group of warthogs up close without disturbing them. Watching wildlife on foot, without the hum of a vehicle, is an experience I’ll never forget. Highly recommend this walking safari for anyone who wants to connect with nature in a more personal and meaningful way. Thank you, Godson, for a day that will stay with me forever!

5.00It is a good place to visit for people who are at hurry, and no enough time to visit other remote parks. The parkis dominated by forest inhabited by inquisitive blue monkeys and colorful turacos and trogons.

5.00I was in a group of 4 colleagues from our company that did a day trip to Arusha National park after attending an international workshop in Arusha. Our host Mary contacted Godson and he gave a great deal. Benedict was our guide for the day and he is an expert guide. He knew the park very well and did a wonderful job of spotting wild animals in the park. We managed to see lots of antelope,herds of cape buffaloes, colobus monkeys, giraffes and a leopard which I understand is very rare. There were many birds in the in the forest such as noisy horn-bills, weaver birds..... also saw some flamingos in small lake. We also went to Momella Lake for a boat ride which was a great after the morning game drive. Thank you Godson for the great deal and Benedict for being an excellent guide. You are highly recommended!

5.00We spent a wonderful day in Arusha National Park with my friends after our workshop in Arusha and had an amazing time. We were picked from our hotel at 8.00 am and driven to the park by Bryson who was our guide for the day. He was amazing during the day showing us the different parts of the park during our day trip. We started with a walking tour with an armed guard trekking and enjoying the views of Mt Meru and could also make out Kilimanjaro towering above the clouds from a distance. This was followed by a game drive as we drove through the forest to Lake Momella where we had our boxed lunch. This was then followed by a canoeing in the clear blue waters at the lake. The day passed too quickly and we saw lots of animals and birds. I would recommend this excursion for those that do not have so much time but still want to get the amazing feel of a safari.
