All of our guides are basque foodies and want to show you why. They will take you around the city from bar to bar discovering the local food, pintxos, and some local drinks as well.
Many pintxos and 5 wines pairings included.
You will get to know the history of Basque language and the Basque people, differences between Spain and Basque country and the past and present of Bilbao. We will adapt the route depending on whether you are more eager to walk and see places or if want to try more local foods. You will visit bars and restaurants off the beaten track, avoiding the tourists and experiencing the city like a true local.

5.00I'd recommend this experience very highly. We are usually happy to travel independently but, as were were only in Bilbao for 2 nights, we thought it would be a shortcut to the good spots and to find about the city and region. It was a great decision. Our guide (Kara) was great company and very knowledgeable. She took us from bar to bar, asking about what we liked and didn't like so she could make the best choices for us...and also challenge us to try some things too. We enjoyed a fabulous selection of pintxos...and more than a couple of drinks too. A really wonderful evening. Thank you.

5.00My partner and I joined 2 other couples along with an excellent guide Maria. Lovely company and a very knowledgeable Maria who made the tour of drinks and pintxos a great way to spend some time in Bilboa learning some of it's history and culture.

5.00This was a great evening out and well worth the money. Our charming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide Maria met us at the easy to find meeting place with two other couples and a single and whisked us off to a tour of her favourite places. It felt like we were on a night out with friends visiting all our favourite bars and restaurants. At each place we were given a warm welcome and sat at a reserved table after which we were supplied with the most delicious food and drink. We were given plenty of time to chat and get to know each other, but Maria was on hand to explain the food, describe the wine and tell us about the area, traditions and language. Such a great introduction to the city. Two pieces of advice - book this early in your visit, and arrive hungry! Five lovely restaurants, nine generous plates of food, you will be stuffed full by the end of the night and will go home happy and excited to explore the rest of the city.

5.00Really enjoyed this experience. Wonderful selection of pintxos, and they were able to cater for vegetarian as well as gluten free within the group of 6. The drinks were also plentiful and varied- not just wine. Jack was our host and he took the trouble to give us a brief history of Bilboa, and was happy to answer all questions. We had a fun evening and recommend it as a good way to eat and drink local specialities and gain a better understanding of the local culture.
Shocking cancelling at last minute

1.001 Day before we received a message saying could we change our booking which was prepaid two months before from 12:30 to 17:30, phoned them up and they denied we had a booking, then got a message it had been cancelled, not exactly a great outfit. Now been taken off their WhatsApp list.

5.00From the moment it started, it felt like being shown around the city by a friend who knows every secret, every story and every perfect pintxo bar. The guide was incredible…warm, funny, and packed with knowledge. I learned so much about Bilbao’s history and culture without ever feeling overwhelmed. And the pintxos? Amazing. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, with beautiful wines that paired perfectly. I tried things I never would’ve ordered on my own and loved every single one. It was the perfect mix of food, culture, and fun. If you’re visiting Bilbao, this tour is absolutely unmissable. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
