3.00Really mixed on this. The tour guide was delightful. From England so perfect English. However, the initial guide assigned couldn’t do it and tried to change the date. Was a bit stressful and delayed in the communication to sort it out. For $250 for 2 people the amount of insight and food didn’t come close to the less expensive tapas and wine tour we did in Madrid where each venue had a history, character and specific tapas that place was known for. For what we paid, this didn’t live up to a ‘luxury’ tour and our expectations

5.00This far exceeded our expectations! Our guide, Adriana was lovely, super informative and fun to chat with. She took us to some great food spots, showed us some amazing sights and had an excellently planned route around Palma that did not make us feel tired at all from all the walking. The experience was so well curated and went beyond just food (but it was all top tier) to include showing us sights, shops, cute streets and much more. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a great way to experience the culture of Palma.

1.00Leaving my review here since the company removed my review from their website. This food tour was not good at all. It felt unorganized the entire time. It was not planned well for a group size of 8 people. We stopped at two tapas bar and one pastry shop. The stops were not prepared for us at all. The guide said the stops were not specific to the food tour, he chose them. That’s fine with a small group but does not work with a large group, and it showed when the restaurant workers acted like we were in the way and shouldn’t have been there. Then while at the stops, the tastings were extremely small. There were supposed to be “10 tastings” however the food was extremely skimp. For example, there was ONE croquette to split across Eight people. TWO small fish cakes to split across EIGHT people. ONE omelette. Two palm-sized pastries to split across eight people. That is nonsensical. Immediately after the tour ended we went to a market to eat. We could have saved our time and money and found a real food tour to go on. We could have had a feast elsewhere for €72 per person. We had more bread than anything. It honestly felt like a scam. By far the worst food tour I’ve ever been on, and I’ve been on a lot all over the world. It’s a staple on my trips. I would never recommend this one to anyone. And even worse, when I reported the issue to Withlocals, they told me I received the service I paid for which was a 10 tastings tour. The guide may have purchased 10 items, but we did not receive a tastings tour for 8 people, certainly not when 1 croquette counts as 1 of the 10 dishes in a 10 tastings tour and eight people are expected to share that one croquette. Or the same for the one omelette, or the two fish cakes. After pressing them, they finally agreed to give a refund but removed my honest review.
