What To Expect
Fast, Safe, Affordable Fun. Sleep In… We arrive at Molokini after all of the big tour boats have left. We snorkel the inside and outer reef and/ or the backside (conditions permitting) of Molokini without Crowds and get you back in around two hours. Trip includes beverages and snorkel gear. The Molokini Express is ideal for those who wish to enjoy the crystal clear waters and abundant marine life at Molokini but prefer their time on the water to be 2 hours. Over one hour of snorkeling time is available at prime locations away from the crowds. Depending on conditions, you will snorkel at 3 snorkel spots around Molokini. By arriving at the crater just after most of the other boats have just departed, we find the area to be almost empty allowing us to drift snorkel large areas of the rim if we choose to. One of the most popular and spectacular drifts is over the outer reef formed by the rim of the volcano which at points is only two or three feet deep and then drops off on the outside to 200 feet. Gliding over the reef gives one the “feeling of flying” as you look off the edge of the world! We look forward to having you on tour with us and showing you all of Molokini.

5.00Excellent trip. The crew was very sweet and polite. They accomodated all ages and abilities :-) we had two different spots at the reef to snorkel away from the crowds and plenty fish around. The sea was swollen so we couldn't swim with turtles, but we saw them from on board the boat. One was less than three feet away and waved at us! We also saw a whale. The boat was very comfy, food and water were available. We were on ti.e and team was easy to find!
Second trip this week with Blue Water rafting.

5.00This was our second trip with Mikey in the same week. Loved both trips and saw 2 whales this time. Austin was the crew. We spent 2 hours in the Molokini crater. The boat had to come to us to get us back in. Molokini is the best!! We'll book with Blue Water next time we can, hopefully with Mikey,

5.00It was a smaller more intimate experience and quicker for those who don’t want to spend half the day out at sea. I don’t know how to swim but the boat kept a close eye on us and followed us around closely as we swam around the entire inside of the crater. I never once felt I was not safe, they provided all swim gear and floats as well as constantly kept close vigilance on the group something I feel a larger boat can’t provide. If you ever needed attention they were close enough to ask them for it at any time. The water is choppier the later you go but we were the only boat out there and I imagine in the morning it gets crazy busy with multiple boats and dozens of people, so keep in mind less people but choppier waters however you can still see the fish just fine and swimming the back wall is unlikely the later you go. If you want smaller crowds and more freedom to snorkel knowing you are being watched closely at all times then do this your. Also know no turtles will be seen at molokini, it’s strictly a fish zone.

5.00Purchased tickets on Trip Advisor, easy transaction. Got to the boat launch at 10 AM and Kanoe was there to check us in, he did a great job of gathering everyone. Got on the boat, easy to do from the dock, they gave a briefing and we took off, it was a great ride out, when we got to Molokini, we got a snorkel briefing and Kanoe handed out gear, we brought our own masks and used their fins. The water was amazing, excellent visibility, not as many fish as I thought, but a nice variety. Charlie was our captain and he was great, our ride back to the dock was EXHILARATING! Waves and wind, Captain Charlie did a great job, but definitely do NOT go if you have back problems! I would go again!

5.00Mike, our captain dropped us off at one end of the crater. And because there was very little other tour activity we were allowed to drift the whole crater rim. It was awesome!!! Fantastic views fish and coral. I would definitely recommend this snorkeling adventure.

5.00Charlie was a great captain and took us to the crater very smooth. We almost had a private tour, with only 4 people on the boat. Snorkeling in Molokini was awesome! Lots of different fish and beautiful underwater landscape! Even a school of dolfins was in the crater. I would definitely book that tour again!
