Sail in the Caribbean paradise of St Maarten on a casual yet upscale cruise within walking distance from the cruise ships and close to most resorts. Some days we leave from Philipsburg and other days we leave from Simpson Bay. Your day includes real sailing, homemade lunch and unlimited drinks from the open bar. Relax on a cushioned seat in the sun or shade aboard the Random Wind as you travel up the coast. This family-friendly yacht takes you away from it all; snorkeling, paddle boarding and plenty of fun on board with the TARZAN SWING! What To Expect
Mullet Bay
We usually stop twice during the day both; stops are in the Caribbean Sea. We don’t go into the Atlantic Ocean. At the first we snorkel, paddle board, kayak, swim to the beach, hang with noodles.....and have lunch. We shop each morning. Marinated chicken skewers, captain grilled, green salad, baguette, lovely Caribbean rice. Would you like a rum punch with that? At the second stop we swing from the Tarzan swing. Those between 2 and 89 have enjoyed this easy, safe and super fun trapeze-type swing. The bar is always open and included and if you are hungry after swinging - or laughing - have a snack!
Little Bay
This could be the first stop or it could be the second stop depending on the day and the conditions of the sea.

5.00Experience was a 10/10. Best boat trip I’ve been on thus far. They have 2 stops along the ride where they offer snorkeling gear, pool noodles, Tarzan swing, and paddle boards. The lady who owns and lives on the boat was the best guide and the sweetest lady ever! The ride was super scenic and absolutely breathtaking. On the boat there are SO many places to rest in the sun and out. Paid $145 i believe via the website and you 100% get your money worth, if not more! In my experience there were about 20 people give or take, all super friendly! The food they cooked…. 5 stars. We had curry chicken skewers, yellow rice, and a side salad and slice of bread and unlimited rum punches to wash it down. SUPER filling and so yummy!!! I will say, I recommend bringing a bottle as the drinks weren’t too strong at all but the whole vibe of staff and the boat it’s self made up for it!! Lastly, there is a small boat you have to take to the catamaran it’s about 5 minutes and when you get to the catamaran ask for queenie!! (The cutest most chill dog ever)

The crew was absolutely amazing—Captain Skully, Anna, and Mel went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time while keeping us safe and comfortable throughout the trip. One of the highlights was getting to meet some sweet rescue pups! Our entire group had an incredible day, and we would definitely book with them again on our next visit. 5.00Loved Anna and Scottie (and Quennie)! We had an amazing time. Anna was an excellent engaging host, food was great and the temerity beautiful. We did a couple other excursions, but Random Wind was our favorite.

5.00Our resort greeted us with “Welcome Home”. While my wife and I appreciated the aspirational sentiment, it wasn’t until we boarded the Spirit of St. Martin from Random Winds that we felt it. Host Anna, Captain Scottie and Cruise Director Queenie made us truly feel at home. Y’know those family friends your parents refer to as Aunt or Uncle or Cousin? And you quickly realize they’re not family but better?! That’s the vibe. And the experience - good music, delicious food & plenty of beverages, gorgeous waters, views galore, and other people you don’t know but are equally friendly and just as appreciative of the moment. Book it! P.S. thank you Diane, Anna & Scottie. My wife and I were fortunate enough to take a few vacations with her Uncle (blood relation) on sailboats around the world. Since he passed, we haven’t experienced the same special feeling until this trip. Be well and continue sharing this unique experience.

5.00It was a blast! For all ages (not children), great snorkeling, great food and drinks! Anna, Scott and Mel made everything enjoyable and safe, and were super kind! Even at my age I did the Tarzan swing off the boat into the turquoise water!

5.00The crew goes out of their way to make sure everyone is having a good time and and keep the drinks flowing. The trapeze swing is great fun too. We would highly recommend Random Wind to anyone and everyone! Wish we could do this everyday of our trip!

5.00Best excursion! Anna and crew were amazing hosts! We felt welcomed the entire time as if we were personal guests. The stops, the freshly prepared delicious lunch, the beverages and attention. All unhurried and always making sure we were having fun. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. So glad we chose Random Wind for our day in St Maarten!
