What To Expect
Cape Coast Castle
You will be taken on a guided tour of this castle to explore its dungeons that held enslaved Africans up to 3 months prior to transfer across the Atlantic to the new world. From dark underground dungeons to the "door of no return" observe and have a feel of the conditions the captives went through in this bastion.
Kakum National Park
Visitors here will get to hike up to the only canopy walkway in Africa and experience an adrenaline rush feeling on this adventure tour. Made up of seven bridges suspended on trees, take a walk across the canopy and get the sense achievement after embarking on this tour.

5.00This was a really full day with an early (on time) start. The swinging bridges at Kwame National Park are a bit scary but there is lots of support and guidance, and a real feeling of accomplishment to do it! Visiting Elmina and Cape Coast Castles of course is deeply moving, emotionally difficult but important for a European to experience. I will not forget.

5.00John was my tour guide and he took very good care of me. The tours of the slave castles were heartbreaking, solemn and sad, but a necessity. My soul felt at home and to return 400 years after the Transatlantic slave trade began was priceless. I will forever be grateful for my journey of completion - and this tour was instrumental in that!

5.00We spent a wonderful day with our tour guide Prince. The day started on time and we were treated to a relaxing drive to Cape Coast where we visited the Kakum National Forest, Elmina Castle, and Cape Coast Castle. All along the way, Prince told us about the history and customs of the areas we were seeing. We also stopped at a small roadside family-owned and operated palm oil business where we were shown the processes necessary to extract the oil from plants. We would recommend Prince to anyone seeking a leisurely and informative day tour from Accra.
