The Kivukoni fish market is a trading spot for fish and seafood that were caught or produced in the Kivukoni area as well as the neighboring places. In other words, throughout the day, there is fish being delivered to the place by fishermen and also people from all places of the city coming to buy from it. It is famous for having different kinds of seafood available at the lowest prices in the city.

5.00This tour gives a good overview of Dar Es Salaam. The fish market was the biggest we’ve ever been to! The museum houses a great collection of information & is very interesting. Gideon was so calm driving thru the congested streets and we stopped at other places finishing up with a cultural dance group. The tour was good price to value,we appreciated the good communication & Gideon was so professional & kind. Great tour for us from the cruise ship
