With Stuart's Bicycle Tours you will take a journey through Glasgow's historic and folkloric past to its vibrant and modern present. A city of stunning architecture, rich varied culture and a birthplace of Scottish ideas.
By using bikes we can start in the city centre and ride to the farther reaches of Scotlands largest city. Utilising its network of bike lanes and quiet roads we can travel through gorgeous green spaces, stunning vistas, architectural wonders and, indeed, time itself.
Starting in the heart of the city we will travel a 12 mile/20km loop visiting a myriad of interesting locations. We will visit well known highlights of the city as well as lesser known points of incredible interest and gain a deeper understanding of what makes Glasgow the wonderful and eclectic place it is today.
We will discuss ancient folklore, local heroes, triumphs, tragedies, art, sport, invention and science. Getting to know each other as well as the city and country that surrounds us.

River Clyde
We will start our ride along the banks of the River Clyde heading west and pass by its many bridges and historic landmarks
Finnieston Crane
We pay tribute to the industries that created not only Glasgow but the entire British Empire, both good and bad. We also see The Armadillo and iconic Glasgow theatre.

5.00Our 5 person American group included an expert rider, mid-level riders, and two middle-agers that hadn’t been on a bike in 10 years. Stuart was the perfect guide that took as to sooooo many unique, interesting places that we never would have seen at all, or as efficiently. Can’t praise this trip more, it was better than expected. This is the way to see any new city!

5.00Stuart was an excellent tour guide: prompt, knowledgeable, professional, personable, and focused on safety. Thanks to this tour we saw parts of Glasgow we never would have known existed. Stuart explained Glasgow’s history well, embedding personal stories that really brought the city to life. The e-bike was simple to use and really helped for steeper parts of the path (though much of the tour was flat or downhill). Stuart took pictures for us and sent them immediately following the tour, along with some recommendations on dinner places to try. Highly recommend this tour!
