What To Expect

The tour begins at the pier (Terminal Cruise Ship) in Messina. Transfer to Savoca, where Francis Ford Coppola filmed some scenes for The Godfather movie. In Savoca you can see the place of the wedding scene between Mike Corleone and Apollonia Vitelli and the bar where Mike talks with Apollonia’s father. Another stop in this tour is in Forza D’agrò where you can see the Cathedral S. Annunziata that was the main square of Corleone in the movie. Last stop in Taormina where you can enjoy the view of Mount Etna and free shopping time. Back trip to Messina and a little city tour. Return to the place of departure.

4.00We recently had a wonderful experience on the Godfather tour in Sicily with our family of 6! Our guide, Sam, was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We were visiting our son, who's currently deployed there, and Sam was great about adjusting the tour schedule to fit our needs. While the tour was originally advertised as four hours, Sam informed us that it usually lasts around six. He kindly helped us cut it down to four hours, allowing us to meet up with our son afterwards, which we really appreciated. Sam’s knowledge of the Godfather film and its director was impressive, and he shared some great insights along the way. Adding a bit more historical context about Sicily itself would enhance the experience even further. Overall, we had a fantastic time exploring iconic filming locations. If you’re a fan of the Godfather or just want to see Sicily through a unique lens, this tour is definitely worth it! Thank you, Sam, for a memorable day! 🎬

5.00We had an amazing private tour with Sam as our guide and Gino as our driver. Both were absolutely wonderful—professional, friendly, and timely. The van was perfect: clean, comfortable, and ideal for our group of four. Sam was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Messina and every stop we made. He blended in just the right amount of humor and personal anecdotes, making us feel like we were on a scenic drive with a friend rather than on a formal tour. Each stop had the perfect amount of time to explore without feeling rushed. Sam also gave us great recommendations on what to see and where to eat, which added to the experience. It was a lovely and memorable tour, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

5.00Sam our guide and Geno our driver worked together to provide us with exactly the experience we wanted. We changed the order of visits so we were leaving just as the tour buses were arriving so we never waited in line. Sam guided us to an excellent cafe for lunch in Castelmola. Geno did a great job driving the treacherous roads and knew all the shortcuts.

We didn’t feel rushed at all and he offered suggestions for food and other sights to see. I would highly recommend this tour. It was well worth the cost. Thank you

5.00We recently went on the Godfather tour with Salvatore. The tour was wonderful...everything that we anticipated plus more. Salvatore was a wonderful tour guide as I have physical limitations and this was taken into consideration. We enjoyed seeing the roads from the Godfather movie, learning history of Sicily as well as the astrological clock. Was awesome and would definitely book with Salvatore again.
