We depart from the back car park of the Margaret River Visitor Centre at 100 Bussell Highway. This is our starting point before heading out for a day of adventure. You can leave your car in any of the surrounding car parks

5.00Omg ! As a local resident in Margaret river, you barely have a chance to take a time and re-discover your local area. After booked with Sean, I immediately knew this tour is going to be epic, he cares for each of us, and he is so passionate about the Margaret river region. We learnt and experience so much today !! You know what, doesn’t matter who you are or how much you know about this region, you should jump in and doing this tour with Sean. You will know this is just so incredible

5.00Sean was a great host who helped to make us who were strangers feel comfortable with one another. It became an outing with friends. I enjoyed every bit of the tour and smiled when I thought about the day. We did canoeing, had lunch at the cellar and tried many good wines, walked up the slope to see beautiful view of the cape and spotted hopping kangaroos.

5.00You see and do a lot in one day. Lovely easy kanooing on the quiet river. See a waterfall, taste sone honeys, go to a wine estate for lunch and drink, have a 4w drive offroad to the coast en have a little walk for some views. Sean is very enthusiastic and energetic.

5.00This is so much more than just a wine tour. Sean is a first class guide. Friendly and knowledgeable, he kept the whole day flowing very nicely. He created an instant feeling of camaraderie and put everyone at ease from the beginning. Add to that some very relaxed canoeing, for beginners and experienced alike, down a short stretch of the beautiful Margaret River. On the way back we saw a black cockatoo and a hawk hunting and nearly catching its prey. We stopped for a very good coffee at the White Elephant cafe followed by a visit to a waterfall and honey tasting and where we saw live freshwater lobster in their natural habitat. At the vineyard we were given a short explanation of wine production in Australia and treated to a beautiful private lunch in the barrel room of this small boutique winery with tastings of several of their premium wines. Sean was also very knowledgeable about wines having worked in the wine industry. Finally, an amazing four wheel drive experience to a remote clifftop. With wonderful views and a short walk to help digest the fabulous lunch. We have been on many tours in many countries and can say that this is one of the best in terms of organisation, Sean's ability to read his guests and deliver what we wanted. A full and enjoyable day!

5.00A truly unique day out! We saw parts of Australia that 99% of visitors will miss. Book now, you won’t be disappointed. We found this trip when searching for the best way to explore the Margaret River area (to include wine obviously 😊) but wanted a better experience than we could achieve by just going to cellar doors ourselves. First thing we loved on the day? There were only 6 of us, so this trip felt so much more personal than a bus ‘booze cruise’ event. Sean welcomed us all and we set off for the day after introductions. The first event was canoeing on the Margaret River. This was truly wonderful as the river was serene, we were away from all noise apart from nature, and my friend (who had never been in a canoe before, and had been a little trepidatious prior to the day) agreed this was a highlight not to be missed. All safety equipment provided, and clear instructions given to all. Considering most of us had not canoed before, everyone did really well and had fun. Next we had a coffee stop (and comfort break) by a stunning beach whist we all enthused about the scenery (and still taking about our newfound love of canoeing). Now the wine…. We were taken to an award winning vineyard heading north of Margaret River where we were treated like VIPs! Stunning lunch with a wonderful variety of local produce, accompanied by a selection of the wines. We were able to try rose, whites, and reds, and I was stunned by the Chardonnay (normally not one of my ‘go to’ wines! Highly recommended. We met key members of staff and had amazing photo opportunities in the vineyards. Final main activity was a guided walk along part of the Caves Walk coastal path. Again, we were taken to areas not normally accessible to the public and got truly remarkable photos. In summary, this trip made our visit to the area one to remember. Sean is a considerate and (very) well informed host, with a passionate interest and knowledge of wines, nature, customs, and was happy to answer our multiple questions throughout the day. If you truly want to experience Margaret River, book this trip. You won’t be disappointed

5.00Well what an experience! The weather had been turbulent with storms the night before but our Guide Sean was equipped with everything required to dodge the rain. Our canoe experience on the Margaret River was just one highlight of the day. The water was so tranquil & the peace of the river was meditative. The winery was exceptional & we went away with some amazing wine at a fabulous price. Our lunch allowed us to sample a variety of local produce. It was absolutely delicious. The Cape walk rounded the day off with breathtaking views of the ocean & coastline. We would thoroughly recommend this tour with the most knowledgeable and entertaining guide.

5.00Sean the host was absolutely amazing. Really great trip for all round views and experiences of Margaret River... the canoeing was so peaceful and relaxed, perfect way to start the day, then we had coffee with a stunning beach view, then we saw a waterfall and tasted three different types of honey, then we went to a stunning vineyard and had red, white, rose & desert wine - we saw how the wine was made and sat in where the wine barrels were for a lovely lunch. Lastly we walked a short walk and saw amazing views. Sean is very friendly and caters for everyone & he is extremely knowledgeable. This was a perfect way to spend the day and see the sights.

5.00Relaxed day with a difference - includes a gentle canoe-paddle on the river, nature walks, and stunning cliff-top views to finish. The obligatory wine tasting over lunch was excellent, and Sean was the perfect guide - enthusiastic, knowledgeable and personable. Enjoy!!

5.00Sean is a versatile and gifted guide full of experience and enthusiasm for what he does with us gods. The group size is limited from the 4WD car to 6 people soothingly, the instruction in canoeing short and precise, everyone masters his boat after a few minutes. At the winery - previously a quick hot drink and pee break at the White Elephant - the “chef” gives a brief understandable introduction to the production and aging of the wines during the tasting, during which Sean has conjured up numerous regional delicacies for the next wines. The participants become a community with stimulating conversations.... After the ice wine tasting, the walk comes to the breathtaking cliff as a viewing and photo spot... during all car journeys there are suitable explanations or pictures of the landscape, history, bushfires or personal experiences.... Everything flies by and we have to say goodbye after 6.5 hours full of impressions. Highly recommended for imitation.... Big thank you to Sean!!
