Nagarkot Buddha Peace Park Hiking Trail
After enjoying magical sunrise view, Himalayas and lovely breakfast, we start the hike which is truly local life experience with valley view. Passing through typical Tamang village, encountering many goats and chickens, interacting with locals in the fresh air with magical mountains view along the hike. Also passing Buddha peace park, Jalpadevi Temple then walking through very peaceful forest where sometimes have a chance to observe deers and monkeys. Arriving at ChanguNarayan temple at the end of your hike, visit the oldest temple of Nepal and listen stories from your guide. The hiking part is mostly downhill covering 12km in distance.

5.00Thank you so much Shishir for an amazing tour and we will remember for our lifetime. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to Nagarkot for the sunrise view. We had the clear weather and we saw the panaromic views of the Himalayas with sunrise view. Hiking through the local villages was the true glance to see the mountain peoples life and very scenic too. We visited ChanguNarayan temple at the end of our hike which is a very unique temple in Kathmandu. This tour gave us true opportunity to see mountains, hiking, culture & tons of information about Nepal. Shishir's knowledge was so deep & he shared everything we wanted to know about. We stayed 2 weeks in Nepal & toured around & this was the most beautiful & memorable one. The driver Gopal had the great skill to drive through the mountain road & Kathmandu traffic & very safe. We can't recommend enough this tour. Simply go for it, you will thank me later. All the 5 star reviews here are true. See you next time Shishir, we love to find you as our guide again, hopefully next year for the base camp trekking 😘🙏

And so is Shishir, very kindhearted, helping, welcoming, we have learned so much about the Nepalese culture, different religions etc. with him and he was doing the tour in our rythm. 5.00This tour was absolutely wonderful. The sunrise at Nagarkot was stunning, and the views of the Himalayas and Kathmandu Valley were unforgettable. The downhill hike through local villages was peaceful and a great way to see real Nepali life. Our guide, Shishir, was very kind and knowledgeable, and made the whole day smooth and enjoyable. The visit to Changu Narayan Temple was also a great cultural experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy nature, culture, and beautiful scenery in one perfect day in Kathmandu!

5.00My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful day with this trekking experience. From the moment we were picked up, everything was well organised and smooth. Shishir, was excellent. He provided clear and insightful explanations throughout the trek and answered all of our questions with great enthusiasm. He was very attentive and genuinely passionate about what he does, which made the experience even more enjoyable. On our way back to the hotel, Shishir even stopped to buy a local yogurt so we could try it . A small but thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. At the end of the day, he also gave us recommendations for local food. The scenery was beautiful, combining nature, local villages and views of the Kathmandu Valley. Overall, we were very happy with both the guiding and transportation services. To quote Shishir’s own words, which perfectly reflect the spirit of the experience: “Be like Buddha, calm and disciplined.” 🌿🙏

5.00It’s definitely the best tour provider option we ever booked. Shishir’s knowledge about Nepal and the mountains are super! He is like a living Chatgpt. They picked us up with a very nice electric car and good driver. We started the day by catching the sunrise, had breakfast in small local shops, then started the hike for about 5 hours with many stops and he is also a great photographer too!
