We had a great time in the company of Shishir and his driver with very careful driving. Shishir met all our expectations, he taught us a lot about his country and allowed us to live our most beautiful day in Nepal. Breakfast in a local restaurant was typical and was well enjoyed after the early departure. The hike is easy and allows you to see beautiful landscapes with the Kathmandu Valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance while passing through a forest, temples and small villages allowing you to see local life. An outing therefore to recommend without hesitation for those who want to discover the heights of the Kathmandu Valley in safety.

Our day was so amazing with our guide, Shishir!! The accommodations were perfect. We had a beautiful sunrise morning, then got coffee and breakfast at a local restaurant. After that, the hike through the villages and forests were relaxing and fun! We toured world heritage sites with the panoramic Himalayas in the background of all our photos. Shishir was very knowledgeable and told us a ton of facts about the history of where we went! Things to know: You do not need water, they bring it! I would say bring a trail snack but there are also opportunities to purchase local snacks at the halfway point. Bring layers, it’s chilly in the morning. Definitely ask Shishir questions and also for his lunch rooftop recommendations after the tour!

A wonderful catered experience that begins with an amazing sunrise viewing at a perfect panoramic view point. The tour continues through villages where you can greet locals and a variety of animals. Then contrasted with a deep forest trail which leads you to amazing temples. All of this is wrapped up with an immersive dialogue about local culture.

We had an amazing day with this tour. Our guide met us at the hotel and we travelled to Nagarkot for a short walk to a vantage point to watch the sun rise over the Himalayas. Just magical watching the early light change to highlight the mountains in bright sunshine . We then drove to another lookout over the valley and a stop for breakfast. We chose the local food seller and really enjoyed the food! Back into the car for a short drive where we started our 11 km trek , mostly downhill , across the valley through villages and forest. A relatively easy walk. Last stop at the temple before a drive back to Kathmandu. Our guide was delightful, knowledgeable with an amazing knowledge of the mountains , including heights of each mountain on view, and general Nepalese statistics . Could not recommend more highly ! Shishir was just amazing . We feel very privileged to have shared Nepal with him

Shishir was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. The day started early with a stunning sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot, absolutely worth the early wake-up. The following hike wound gently downhill through peaceful villages, terraced fields, and centuries-old temples—a wonderful glimpse into rural Nepalese life. Shishir shared fascinating insights about local culture and history and checked in often to make sure the pace was comfortable. There’s even an option to shorten the walk halfway with a driver pick-up, but I’m glad I completed the full route—it was scenic, refreshing, and beautifully varied. A truly memorable experience that I would highly recommend!

Shishir has organized a beautiful day trip via Nagarkot and an interesting Dprf. He explained and explained everything to me very competently and super friendly. Shishir is totally helpful and highly motivated. Through his affable and nice manner it was a pleasure to be accompanied by him and he lives up to his wide name as "Happy Creator". After that I booked many tours with him and it was only positive. So I absolutely recommend it.

Shishir was a fantastic guide and I would definately recommend his services. My original tour changed so Shshir suggested the Nargarkot Sunrise and trek which was amazing walking through all the villages along the way. What a beautiful location when you step outside the city centre. Definately Recommend.

A lovely day. Shishir was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and attentive. The hike is mostly an easy pace downhill through villages, a great opportunity to see rural life in Nepal. Shishir does offer a chance to ball out halfway if you get tired with a meeting point with the driver. I continued on to the full 8 mile hike and was glad I did. Fantastic views across the valley and mountains.
