Beautiful and incredibly informative. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. The tour was absolutely lovely. That said, we stopped at one champagne house for a tasting. Four hours and one tasting was a little disappointing, not quite enough champagne in Champagne for our family!

Wonderful introduction to Epernay and the champagne region. We cut this tour a little close having arrived at CDG airport at 10a on 17May, picked up our rental car and drove 90 minutes to Epernay for our 2p private tour. Our guide (unfortunately forgot his name) was very passionate and informative of the area and the process of making champagne. Our first stop was at Jean Milan, where we saw their caves and learned the making process with a very extensive tasting experience, so great that we bought a case to ship home. He then took us on a drive through the countryside to Oger and another house, followed with a visit to Hautville and Dom Perignon’s grave within the church. Finally, he took us to a park overlooking the beautiful Marne river valley for tastings of the three aperitifs used to make or are by-products of making champagne. Cheers to the guide in this tour!

The day was perfect. Our guide Lucie was knowledgeable and comfortable with our group. The family winery was intimate and the tastings were generous. The drive through several villages gave a real feel for the region.
