This is a guided, eye-opening masterclass designed for everyone. We pull back the curtain on the industrial production world to show you the difference between "supermarket" oil and the authentic, original product. You will learn how to identify the real thing and discover the characteristic peppery "kick" of high polyphenols—the powerful antioxidants responsible for the legendary health benefits of the Mediterranean lifestyle. We will provide you with the ultimate "Olive Oil ABC" to take home: how to shop for the correct bottle, the proper way to store it to ensure it stays fresh, and the simple science of how to cook healthy with it while keeping it as beneficial as possible.

3.00Maybe we went too early in the season? I was really looking forward to this experience with my mom. As we walked up we saw an amazing outdoor kitchen space, but they didn’t use any of the equipment while we were there to prepare anything other than a glass of water. We walked around a small newly planted garden and tasted 4 or 5 sips of different types of olive oil ending with their own. By far theirs was the best as the others were old and rancid. There was no offering of food as mentioned which would have been nice with the olive oil. That was it. Overall I do not think it was worth the fee being charged or the drive out there. Maybe once the farm is more established and has more to offer for the money being changed. Just a little more effort would have been appreciated.

4.00The owner knows how to tell inspiringly about the origins of his organic farm and about the different types of olive oil. Then you will look differently when you buy olive oil in future. Furthermore, the cats and little goat are very cute. Walk good after the owner.

Andreas is doing amazing things that we should all be taking his lead for a healthier environment, not to mention his olive oil is the best I've had and I have tasted many olive oils! He is so incredibly knowledgeable about his industry, a true mentor. In I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who cooks with olive oil, extremely eye opening!

5.00Andreas was really welcoming when we first arrived. We were shown round the farm with particular emphasis on the olive trees, how they’ve been maintained and harvested. We were given a detailed explanation about how oil is produced and the quality analysed. Then we had 5 different oils to taste starting with the worst quality up to the best. Andreas is very knowledgable and obviously passionate about his olive grove and his farm.

5.00This was a very informative session While I have always used EVOO, this experience provided a good deal of information on what to look for when selecting olive oil to really enhance your meals. I took that information home with me and my taste buds are thrilled with my lunchtime salads as a result. Highly recommend.
Horrific Experience – Hostile, Antisemitic, Unsafe Environment

1.00If you are Jewish, Israeli, or simply looking for a safe and welcoming travel experience, I strongly urge you to avoid this place. We booked the Olive Oil Experience at the Lefkada microfarm weeks in advance from Israel, based on the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor. We even got our kids excited for what was supposed to be a fun, educational, and memorable day. Instead, it turned into one of the most traumatic travel experiences we have ever had. After a one-hour drive, we arrived on time for our booking. The organizer told us we needed to wait for other guests to arrive, which we understood. While waiting, however, we noticed a prominently displayed wooden sign at the center of the reception area. It contained blatant antisemitic hate speech, including: “End Zionism Save Humanity. Bibi attacked his own people on October 7th.” As soon as the host saw us notice the sign, he asked if we were visiting from Israel. When we answered yes, he aggressively demanded to know if we supported the Israeli Prime Minister. When we said yes, he became visibly enraged, offered us a refund, and declared he would not “entertain perpetrators of genocide.” We had not come for politics but for an olive oil tour with our children. What followed was deeply disturbing. His hands were shaking with anger as he processed our refund. He became increasingly hostile, told us to leave immediately, and said that our children “wouldn’t want to experience what the children in Gaza were experiencing.” At that point, my wife and kids were extremely frightened, isolated in the middle of his farm, surrounded by his staff, and subjected to his hostility. We left immediately, shaken and distressed. This was supposed to be a cultural and culinary experience, but instead we were confronted with hate speech, intimidation, and aggressive behavior. No family should ever be subjected to such an atmosphere.

1.00Boring asf. For 100 € we’ve got a glass luke warm tap water, 4 pieces of cherry tomatoes and 1 pieces of pepper and after petting the stray cats. Thats all we’ve got. Not recommended. Btw the olive oil was standard.
